Smoking a wonderful PL Picadores this morning, and all I could hear in my head was John Barry's perfect score to 'You only live twice'.  As the perfumed ribbons of blue smoke cloaked my face, they fell and rose with dancing strings of his orchestral arrangement.  Made me appreciate what a national treasure John Barry was, absolutely unique and amazing talent

I’m a musician,

Ha, sadly my smoking spot out the back of my house, has had it's 'silence' punctured by orkish neighbours who like to call their kids "effing little C-bombs".

I try to block them out with music I know they will hate.

What do you play out of interest?

Violin, guitar, mandolin, piano, drums, all with varying degrees of mediocrity.

But my real passion is the triangle. ?

I second silence, as a truly sublime experience seems to block out everything else around me...but @Sean3 presents the occasional alternative nicely.

Gently playing passages of ease with the greatest of difficulty.....

" But my real passion is the triangle."

Mine is the wood block and cowbell........:cowpoop:

Jingle bells and the National anthem on  recorders played by two six year olds last night two doors up. For the length of a Boli Corona extra and beyond.

Was just what I needed to de-stress. The constant off notes gave it a jazz vibe, while the dedicated repetition of the two tunes gave a recording studio mood.

-1000 out of 10.

Nothing against the 6 year olds, but I think even constant cow bell would sound great accompanying a BCE.!
