I found that cigars can be used not only for personal pleasure but also creating some mood. From my list, what are the best classy gentleman's cigars for creating romantic mood during talking with women? Drinkings would be single malt whisky (The Macallan, Glenfaclas, Glendronach) or cognac (Delamin, Frapin).

Cohiba

• Lanceros

• Espléndidos

• Robustos

• Siglo Ⅱ

• Siglo Ⅳ

• Siglo Ⅵ

• BHK 54

H. Upmann

• Sir Winston

• Magnum 46

Hoyo de Monterrey

• Double Coronas

Montecristo

• No. 2

• Edmundo

Partagás

• Shorts

• Lusitanias

Romeo y Julieta

• Churchills

Bolívar

• Royal Coronas

Ramón Allones

• Specially Selected

• Gigantes

Note: I just had a surgery for removing cyst today (I mentioned JohnS about it though).

I believe it is all about the aroma that is coming from the cigar/ambient smoke. Based on comments from my wife, she has enjoyed the aroma of Partagas Serie E No. 2 and Quai D'Orsay Coronas (unfortunately not on OP's list) . Also, I know it is not a CC, but she compliments Padron 1964 maduros each time I smoke one. As a matter of fact, she actually likes to light those for me when she knows that I will be smoking one.

I'm gonna go with, "Whatever SHE likes . . ." :P

Probably not the modern fad of gigantic ring gauge, but likely more of the classics: corona gorda, churchill.  Maybe even a lancero if you want to be distinctive.  And whatever you do smoke it slow and make sure you have one for her! :cigar: Maybe one of the same vitola, but sometimes the women like to deliberately underplay their hand and will go for a petite corona when they could easily handle a DC.  Old Fashioned Feminine Modesty I guess! :P They know we're suckers for that sort of thing! :D

Nothing bigger than a PC or they think you're compensating for a shortfall elsewhere, if you get my drift...

Does it have to just be women?

I like talking with women pretty much any time so, for me, 'the best cigar for talking with women' is just 'the best cigar'.

Therefor, in my opinion, the best cigar for talking with women is the Punch Double Corona.

I think a pleasant room note is key here. I think cohiba gives off a nice second hand smoke.

The best cigar and the best drink?  If you want to be romantic, the answer is simple: whatever SHE likes.  You can be smoking an aged Cohiba Esplendidos and pair it with a 50 year old Macallan, and it won't help your cause one bit if she prefers the scent and flavour of a Swisher Sweet paired with a Jagermeister-and-Red-Bull.

The trick is discovering what she likes ... and that alone will go a long way towards making her feel romantic.

At least that has always been my experience...

I will add this

I think the notion of cigars and romance is just nonsense (just my opinion)

Have you ever kissed a girl who's smoked cigars? I have, and it's like licking a barrel of crude oil......not nice.

If you like cigars brilliant....if you like romance brilliant......I would speculate however that if you have a girlfriend that is allowing cigars into the romantic setting, she basically doesn't like it whatsoever, but just likes you very much and is putting up with it.

If your suggesting having a Lusi burning in the background like some form of very expensive Jos stick, then I can sort of understand where your coming from.  But getting saucy, when your mouth probably tasted like an ashtray? hmmm I think this is a mirage.

Again just my opinion.   if it's working for you hats off

Mate short answer... there are none

That's what I am thinking.  Women aren't so excited for their man to be stinking from cigars, especially if you hoping for something right after the cigar.  The cigar selection does nothing for setting the mood IMO.

Who is smoking, you or her? :spotlight:

If you're hoping to find romance through cigar smoking, you may find investing in diamonds cheaper and more fruitful.

I hate to piss in anyone's Cheerios, but my experience suggests to me that this is very much not the case.

Have to agree here. While my wife enjoys the smell of a burning CoRo, as long as it is outside the house, she's not thrilled with smacking lips after I put one to the fire.
