So for those of us that do not have the "pea green family truckster" Chevy chase vacation.  What does a humidor like this run ball park?

Around a dozen or so boxes of middling Habanos, give or take...

These are the photos from Bob. I pick it up tomorrow. I went with a more modern style but using black walnut. There’s also an inlayed top.  It is just in time, too. I have a few packages from our

Sorry for the delay! A few photos, more to follow. This thing has a way of making your collection look somewhat tiny

Shaffer22 and zappaFREAK, can I ask how long it took for Bob to complete your humidor? I've been anxiously waiting for an M plus to be finished. Bob quoted me around 8 weeks and it's been about 12 since I placed my order. I don't want to keep bothering him since so many of us here have been keeping him busy.

I also would enjoy some pics of your Aristocrats when up and running with your collection in place. Thanks

Very nice cabinet. @shaffer22 Is the temp control imperative in TX? Moving to Austin myself in the next few months and am worried because my cabinet doesn’t have this setup.

I'm in Houston.  My AC runs at 72 for most of the year.  That being said, I opted to not go with temp control on mine.

So it all depends on how you keep your house conditioned.

Thank you @scap99  Very good to know. I’m guessing we’ll keep ours no warmer than you. Plus, I won’t put the cabinet ina sunny location. Just happy I can finally get mine out on display.

Hey my friend. I ordered a Aristocrat in June and did not receive till October. Total time was approx 16 weeks I believe. I know he does say turn around is 8-10 weeks but it ended up being much later. I was frustrated but when you receive it, all that goes out the window its beautiful. I rather it just be a more realistic time frame.

Thanks, I'm at 13 weeks now.  It'll be a nice Christmas present.

Not imperative by any means, depending on where you set your AC. I just prefer to age a little cooler than room temp, and this will help with that.

It took about 9 weeks to complete.

This was about $2,900 all-in. I opted for a more expensive wood and an inlayed top, which added to the price. The most expensive upgrade was the temperature control system.

I hope to have this humidor for a lifetime.

I didn't realize he would make the temp controlled models with glass doors.  Beautiful piece!  You can't go wrong with an Aristocrat

He typically dorsnt. I have had 3 aristocrat humidors. The glass unfortunately transfers too much of the cold and the coolers run much more than they should. That is assuming the ambient temp in the room is vastly different than the desired humidor temps.  Which most are.

But hopefully the OP will have decent luck.

According to Bob, the coolers can do about 15-18 degrees Fahrenheit below ambient with glass doors. I need about half that, so I don’t expect any problems, especially since it will be out of direct sunlight.

Same time frame for my Aristocrat MXT 26.5.  Ordered June 30th, arrived at my door on October 13th.

Very cool, looks great. Is it my bad eyes or is the top shelf bending a little with all the boxes on it?

My guess is that is lens distortion from the camera. It seems straight in person.

Easy solution buy more sticks! ;)

All kidding aside we are genuinely lucky to have Bob Staebell in Texas.  Since I outgrew my "lifetime" humidor that I bought from him previously I will be ordering another one shortly.  This time though I intend to pick it up just so I can wander through his shop in amazement.

That looks like a really nice setup, a work of art.

If you can share, what is the source of humidification control? I see the fans and what looks like dual tanks at the bottom.
