JLFIRST Posted January 7, 2018 Posted January 7, 2018 Sorry everyone for taking so long to post my takes a puts. Busy holiday weekend! As everyone can see there was some damage to the sticks when I opened the box. I have put them all in 5 finger bags and separated to help prevent any further damage. I have put two 5ers each into small flat rate boxes inside the main box for extra protection along with some in the Lusi box which is living on a prayer right now. I tapped it shut to prevent any chance of it opening. As I am typing this I realized I forgot to add more empty 5er bags to the pass for any extra sticks added down the road. Hopefully someone can throw a few extras in soon. Everyone that is down the road in this pass, just take a little extra time packaging up the pass. Take a few extra minutes to make sure nothing is rattling around in there. My puts are the following 2014 BBF2007 HU Connie 1.2014 Bolivar tubo12014 CCE 2015 Du Prince2006 Du Prince2012 HUPCTakes Box has been shipped off to the next in line which should be there tomorrow as we are relatively close to each other. I will over stuff vs under, when I know that it is going to multiple sources. I would really hate to be the one that packs them up and damage occurs. That's just my 2 cents for what it's worth. Not saying it was bad. It was definitely fresh, and could benefit with some more time to acclimatize for whoever takes it.

I think this might be being cause by the subzero temperatures we have had in the area causing the wrappers to be fragile, since the packaging looked pretty good when I received it. 1
Projectal Posted January 15, 2018 Posted January 15, 2018 Wow, I don’t know what to say. The Trinidad was the only cigar I noticed that had any damage to it, and all it had was some minor damage to the cap. I felt it was still smokable, so I didn’t mention anything. Nothing else was damaged, that I noticed, when I boxed them up. If you’re right and this is being caused by the cold temperatures, what is the solution? I can replace the damaged cigars, with the exception of the Trinidad, just let me know where to send them. Al
