We will have a facility to do so mid next year. it will be member to member only however.

I have a question: What exactly is this foreign concept you call “excess inventory”?

Friends! The best thing about cigars is the company. And there are plenty of friends who are happy to buy cigars that I don’t like as my palate/smoking habits change. But I don’t flip to mates, just p

Being fairly new to these environments, I’ve been pretty cautious about where I spend my hard earned money. With that being said, I need to find a way to get some aged stock while I sit on the newer stuff. Always crossing my fingers hoping that the next 24:24 will be aged stock, as I trust this wonderful place above all others. Maybe I too will have excess inventory someday soon!

Sure did! Had to weep a little. Cigars were a bit too rich for my blood (for the moment). I’ll catch the next one!

There have been plenty mate. Vintage, Davidoff/Dunhill/books etal. The Behike was just the last but you know as well as I that those boxes are hardly going to be destroyed. They will likely be sold and sold again.
Don't get me wrong. The secondary market is great for vendors as it just increases the pie.  It does however attract every charlatan like a moth to flame.  You need to be very clued in to safely participate in the more "attractive" offerings.  You will still get burnt from time to time.

He sold those fake cigars and people felt sorry for him! It went so far, they wanted to take up money for him to help him reimburse those he screwed over! This was after he knowingly dealt with a known scam artist!

Facebook has some good places but very few and far between! I'd stay away from them if I were you or anyone. I can personally tell you horror stories about people who've sold there and bought there. They act like your best friend until there is a problem; then you become the *******.

Any suggestions on where I should sell a box of Behike 56s?  I can’t get myself to smoke a cigar that costs $100, my palate just isn’t that refined.

Thanks

Are they the coveted kind in the glass-top box? I've heard those have a truly unique flavour profile.

Agree 100%, i have never sold any of the cigars rhat I have bought. Given away yes, for me selling would change the way I look at a cigar.

You can always go to the trading room. There are many great brothers willing to trade their stock for yours, depending on if it's something that someone is looking for.

Agreed - I've done plenty of trading, bombing and box splits on the old JRBB or Herfers Paradise, but I've never sold a stick for profit.

Almost there. We will be inviting 12 locker members to assist in final testing. That is expected July.

Keep in mind it is designed for members to initially move their locker stock to other members. Only stock 3 years and older.

ah ok gotcha. I'm not quite ready for a locker yet. Was looking forward to an olh-style resource that wasn't run on a pre-BBcode angelfire/geocities webpage template though :rotfl:

Looking forward to Rob setting up something like this for trusted members as I am not part of the trading board as I have 8 plus years here but not enough posts (but fully enjoy the forum) but I do like to sell off some stuff preferably to worthy brothers. I recently sold a HQ/ PSP box of SW’s I think I got in 14 or sometime around there to someone for near cost I think $350 give or take and he flipped them to a guy that gave them out in packages to golfers in a golf outing. It shouldn’t have pissed me off as much as it did but I wasn’t looking to make money just reinvest in other stock I have time to actually smoke. Mostly wanted them to find a good home for an appreciate host as strange as that sounds.
