I was asked by a member for my best box codes of 2016.

"Best" I believe should refer to consistency in quality

I will post up mine in a few days when I fly back home and review my 2016 "little black book".

In the meantime, give us your top two 2016 codes (one is fine..no more than two).

We will do a member top 10 and then I will do mine. Let's see how close we get.

If someone posts the code that you were thinking about, post it again.

Cheers!

Rob

ETP has been my most consistent in 2016. Only marca represented in my humidor with ETP 2016 is Bolivar, but every box (BCJ, BPC, BRC) I’ve scored has been solid.

My best 2016 boxes are ROM. ETP would be in second place.

For consistency it's TOS and nothing really comes close. ROM as second.

TOS started in a blaze of glory and then retreated back into just above mainstream mediocrity.

Excluding the obvious pick of El Laguito AMO...SOM and PUR hands down for me. Just like RAE and ESO before them.

Great quality across board from SOM and Lusis, BCG and Winnie’s from PUR.

I’m with you on PUR. Three of my favorite cigars last year came from PUR.

OBM on the Lusis but I haven't had anything else from there. Other than that, it's ETP.

I guess I’ve been lucky, because I’m on a good streak with TOS and the youngest box is from october.

There were several stellar codes that I encountered in 2016.  Forced to pick no more than two I have to go with OBM and SOM.

Just got two boxes of RASS ETP SEP 16. They look great, and am holding to let them settle in for a few weeks. Will report back.
