Popular Post 99call Posted October 19, 2017 Popular Post Posted October 19, 2017 To cut a long story short, I hooked up on this cigar sale held in Belgium today. I hate leaving absentee bids, so I always do telephone. I've been dragged into a difficult project down in London, and basically only made it back the hotel, to see all lots sold.....AHHHHHhhhhhh. This collection was from an old french food critic (i think) ... It was basically all the cigars I've ever wanted, images put up are just a small selection of what was sold... they all looked stellar. GUTTED!!!! Wheres that shotgun?? 13 1
99call Posted October 19, 2017 Author Posted October 19, 2017 Would love it, if Rob put these up of the 1st of July 24/24. 1
Puros Y Vino Posted October 19, 2017 Posted October 19, 2017 Wow. A lot of those look super oily too! Never seen the Dip 6 in that box. I have Dip 7's in that format. Coo to see the Dip 2's used to be package that way as well. I have a few of the Sir Winnies with that band too. Excellent smokes! Thanks for sharing.
99call Posted October 19, 2017 Author Posted October 19, 2017 The RG lonsdales literally look like they're made of 80%chocolate Marc de Champerard (the deceased). really knew how to pick a cigar 2

The Cano Diademas had a 200-325 reserve too???? I think they go for around £3000 on UK auctions. I'm afraid I don't know the sale prices. The whole catalogue is here http://www.millon.com/html/index.jsp?id=87758&lng=fr&npp=150 I think this sale was slightly off the "Big Dogs" radar, hence why I was excited, I have a feeling some real bargains were picked up 1

Popular Post SignalJoe Posted October 20, 2017 Popular Post Posted October 20, 2017 As amazing as this collection is (trust me I was drooling) its kind of sobering. I find it a little sad that the man who amassed these treasures never had the opportunity to enjoy them. Perhaps its serves as notice to enjoy what you have while you can. 6

I was thinking kind of the same thing. But on the other hand I am quite sure he smoked many other magnificent cigars.

Wertman Posted October 20, 2017 Posted October 20, 2017 wow those look like the cigars all of us would have wanted. I could not imagine how was the pricing? was the winning bid higher or lower than you were expecting?
Ryan Posted October 20, 2017 Posted October 20, 2017 Very interesting collection, the reserves are very very low. The Flor de Cano Diadema box of 25 is a $20,000 box. Some of the box codes don't make sense but that's understandable. 1
Lotusguy Posted October 20, 2017 Posted October 20, 2017 Drool-worthy! Thanks for posting. Wonder what they all went for... 1
PigFish Posted October 20, 2017 Posted October 20, 2017 ... what, no KSA's??? What was he thinking??? Thanks for sharing my friend. While I don't go about buying collector cigars, man there were a bunch there that I would have loved to smoke. Wow... -R 2
zeedubbya Posted October 20, 2017 Posted October 20, 2017 Results are up now, some awesome prices for sure. Wow. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
