peanutpete Posted October 16, 2017 Posted October 16, 2017 like others have said smoking to me is a waste of time, but hot brandy half a spoon of honey and a squeeze of lemon works wonders
TCContender Posted October 16, 2017 Posted October 16, 2017 I do not bother to smoke, at least nothing good, as I cannot taste much anyway. Maybe a NC dog rocket to lift my spirits. Don't typically drink when sick, unless the wife force feeds me orange juice - then I will take the obligatory splash of vodka.
Wolfpack Posted October 16, 2017 Posted October 16, 2017 Smoke not drink. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
zepp69 Posted October 16, 2017 Posted October 16, 2017 I don't smoke or drink when ill. It is a waste of a good cigar.
AlFais Posted October 17, 2017 Posted October 17, 2017 I don’t do a lot of things when I am sick. Smoking cigars is one of them.
Leopolis Semper Fidelis Posted October 18, 2017 Posted October 18, 2017 Years ago, it was suggested to me that I should smoke a strong cigar to knock out the cold I couldn't shake off. I did so. Coincidence or not, I started feeling better within a few hours. Go figure. I haven't repeated the experiment, by the way.
Oscar300 Posted October 18, 2017 Posted October 18, 2017 I'm sick note at the moment and I have a free evening tonight, I wont be smoking. Miserable.
grizzlee Posted October 18, 2017 Posted October 18, 2017 Smoke = No. Too wasteful as ability to enjoy tastiness is gone. Drink = Yes. Whisky and Cognac consumption goes up. — May be why remembering what occurred while sick is difficult at times.
