WarriorPrincess Posted September 27, 2017 Posted September 27, 2017 So Rob has just informed me that I am in charge of the choosing the staff song for the Karaoke competition at Havanathon Needless to say I would rather being enjoying a glass of wine in the corner at the time but I will take this in my stride and rise to the challenge. I have choose a few songs to see if any are appropriate but the look on the faces of Greg and Ross when i told them on the songs basically meant NO WAY Let me know what you think and any suggestions you can think of would be great The songs are going with the theme of a production line ........ WHIP IT BY DIVO 9- 5 BY DOLLY PARTON HARD DAYS WORK BY THE BEATLES TAKE THIS JOB AND SHOVE IT BY JOHNNY PAYCHECK WORKING FOR A LIVING BY HUEY LEWIS SHE WORKS HARD FOR HER MONEY BY DONNA SUMMER MANIC MONDAY BY THE BANGLES WORKING CLASS MAN BY JIMMY BARNES AND BEST ONE ......HEIGH HO FROM THE SNOW WHITE MOVIE THE DAWFS ARE BELOW DOC- ROB GRUMPY - LISA HAPPY - DEE SLEEPY - LAUREN BASHFUL - ROSS SNEEZY - GREG DOPEY - ADAM 2
madandana Posted September 27, 2017 Posted September 27, 2017 Take this job and shove. Put Rob on a pedestal and you all can sing to him... I will be standing in the corner with a drink and a smile??????? Or go with some local lads. Highway to hell.

Ken Gargett Posted September 28, 2017 Posted September 28, 2017 first, the thing you have to remember about the seven dwarves is that, statistically speaking, six out of seven dwarves are not happy. and if you think i am getting in a car to drive two minutes, let alone across town, for that load of aural pollution, forget it! donna summer. what were you thinking. di, as i have told you before, she is the musical (and never has a word been so twisted from its intended meaning) equivalent of sauv blanc. she aspires to be lift music. i would not inflict that on a nsw blues or waratahs fan (well, may be i would, but even i'd feel a little bit guilty).

Di, I'm going to take a wild guess that Kens suggestion will start with Spring and end in Steen! If you guys are going to sing Hi Ho, does this mean Rob is Snow White??

jay8354 Posted September 29, 2017 Posted September 29, 2017 I like Hi Ho, easy to sing even when drunk. though I think the names of the dwarves should be changed to the original unused names: Jumpy, Deafy, Puffy, Burpy, Stuffy, Lazy and Wheezy DOC- ROB-Lazy GRUMPY - LISA-Stuffy HAPPY - DEE-Jumpy SLEEPY - LAUREN-Puffy BASHFUL - ROSS-Burpy SNEEZY - GREG-Wheezy DOPEY - ADAM-Deafy
Warren Posted September 29, 2017 Posted September 29, 2017 I always thought that Hi Ho was a song about a stoned prostitute. 1
