ElJavi76
I smoked a Connie A last night, and I liked it. (Just like Katy Perry) I got the sense my nose was in a cappuccino overlooking the beach in Positano. Tons of cream. Tons of caramel. It was a beautiful experience guys. Is this flavor profile prevalent to other Upmann vitolas? I'm interested... What cigars do y'all recommend with that coffee, cream, caramel, or toffee flavor profile? I've read here that PLPC's are a caramel dream and they're on my radar as a next buy. Thoughts are appreciated. Cuba libre. Happy smoking! prodigy
The plpc apparently need 3-5 years until they hit caramel town. Still won't hurt to get a box now so they can start the journey. The HdM epicure especial I had a few days ago was very creamy, toasted tobacco, and peanuts/cashews. I'm interested to hear what others throw out too!Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G891A using Tapatalk 2

Seems like a long time but I have Siglo II's that I've been sitting on fire at least 4 years. I'm hoping on a cab of PLPC's soon.

The RASS made the Superiores forgettable. I was just floored by the Connie A and that cream and caramel. Wanted to poke around to see what else rides that same wavelength.

The RACA is slightly more expensive, and in my opinion a little harder to find. Both are exceptionally good, but if give the slightest advantage to the RACA. I've promised my wife no more buying cigars until I graduate in December, which I'm regretting because I really want a box or 3 of RACA. I might try and trade for a box though, but I still have a few months to wait until I meet the trading room requirements. Ahhh, first world problems... Oh, and if you want to go big, literally and figuratively, give some thought to the HDM DCs. I've had some excellent production that hit the "caramel and cream" right off the truck. I'll give one a crack next week. Haven't had one in a while. My DC game is pretty good. I have HdM DCs, RAGs, and a handful of Lusi's. Never had a Punch or a Don Alejandro, but there's time yet. TheMonk
If you enjoy the cream/caramel flavours as I do (and Upmann is my favorite marca exactly because of that), I'd definitely advise the Mag50 - it has the closest flavour profile to the Connie A, IMO... and it's quite cheaper! Most people think of Hoyo when it comes to creamy flavours, but I disagree... while they're quite mild smokes, I get a lot more creaminess and sweetness in, say, a Partagas Lusitania then in a Hoyo Epi 2. The PLPC is another good bet, but they do need quite some time to bring out the caramel flavours, without age it's more like burnt caramel, which is quite different.

I get the sense that Upmann might be the creamiest of marcas from all the comments here. I don't remember the last time I had a Mag 50 but it's on my radar along with the Montecristo #1 and the HdM Epi Special.
Aardwolf
Hoyo ranks high in my books for cream - I find it in Epi 1's, and any aged Le series. Never tried a San Juan but hear similar thoughts.
