I had no idea of the complex background of line in the family i.e Riches to Rags then Rags to Riches. I wouldn't feel to concerned Warren, is exploits make as all look a bit conservative regardless of age. I cant believe how casual he was about gambling away his first house?

You can never get between a Chinaman and chance to place a bet.

Ha, Although I admittedly a bit of a generalisation, there are rumours here in Manchester (which has an awesome Chinatown) that the majority of the kitchen staffs are working on a 20yr credit line, as they've gambled like mad men in their bosses casinos. I don't think I could mentally survive if I knew I'd f-up that badly.
Warren Posted August 28, 2017 Posted August 28, 2017 Yes I know what you mean. I have never been a gambler and I think if I had lost even a few thousand dollars I would be almost suicidal. On the other hand, great wealth has come from taking a chance. No guts no glory I guess.

I have a had an odd gamble in the past, but I instantaneous knew (without any drama) That I would be way to fond of it, so have basically just avoided it. Unfairly, those who have done studies into gambling addiction have worked out, that those who suffer get essentially the same high from losing as the do winning. The release of endorphins and buzz are the same, even though a gambler would obviously never communicate they enjoy losing, the brain always emits the buzz either which way, hence how bloody addictive it can be for people.
