irratebass Posted August 27, 2017 Posted August 27, 2017 Punch Punch UTE MARCH 16 : Stopwatch :Corona Gorda Cold draw dried fruit On the nose faint floral On the foot cocoa with floral notes1/3Getting a nice doughy element, on the retro I detect floral and a tiny bit of baker spiceThis may be a long smoke I'm already 30mins in and only about an inch in.....not complaining Some Roasted peanuts on the tongue, this has quite a long finish2/3About an hour in, started with a small wonky burn, and eventually went out, relight and all is good in the world againMusty/damp element on the retro now, floral is all gone3/3Went out againFloral has returned on the retro and now mustiness on the lips and tounge with some Rye flavorTar on the punch hole blechStraight cut, which opens up the draw more and the "Cuban twang" flavor is just pouring out now This had excellent construction, a snug, but not tight draw. Ash held on about an inch at time. Excellent smoke that is really smoking well right now. Final smoke time 1hr 58 seconds *I'm very good looking, and great with rice.* 1
louh Posted August 27, 2017 Posted August 27, 2017 Feb 16 Mag 46. I have older 46's but I found this one first. 64 minutes. Had some wrapper cracking in the final third but it burned perfectly. Very tasty...

Projectal Posted August 27, 2017 Posted August 27, 2017 Here's one of my smokes from this weekend, a Punch Punch, from a 50 cab purchased on a recent 24:24. The draw was a bit loose, leading me to believe it would be a quick smoke. Total time, an enjoyable 67 minutes.

prodigy Posted August 27, 2017 Posted August 27, 2017 Punch punch, 2016, ROTT. My first one ever, comes in right at 1 hour 11 minutes. I was worried as I've heard mixed reviews, but I loved it. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G891A using Tapatalk
cjflip14 Posted August 28, 2017 Posted August 28, 2017 Punch Punch, came in at exactly 60 minutes to the band. I love this cigar. It never disappoints.
havanaclub Posted August 28, 2017 Posted August 28, 2017 Went with a Punch Punch PET AGO 16. Best one so far from the box. Fruity, cedar, leather and a nice spice. If you want Cuban twang this is your cigar. 1 hr 6 mins. I will try to post up a review shorty. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
perkinke Posted August 28, 2017 Posted August 28, 2017 JL No. 1Smoke time: 1 hour, 17 min. Sad to say I'm nearly through this 2014 box, it has been excellent. I love the strong profile of the No. 2, but I think the 1 has taken its place as my favorite JL. I am not good at discerning or describing the flavors but it is more subtle and smoother than the JL 2 but has the same solid core flavor like the 2. However, where the 2 is a puncher, the 1 is a boxer. Thoroughly enjoyable smoke that I have savored each and every one. Paired very well with the Slaine triple casket Irish in the picture, though I think my favorite pairing would be with the Balvenie Carib. Cask. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 3

prodigy Posted August 28, 2017 Posted August 28, 2017 El prez, are we limited to one cigar? I already posted the time for my punch punch, but just realized I have a HdM that is a corona gorda. Just curious if it's one entry per cigar, or per person. ThanksSent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G891A using Tapatalk

rcarlson Posted August 28, 2017 Posted August 28, 2017 Okay, I need El Presidente's call on this one. I have an HDM EE that I considered smoking for the stopwatch corona gorda challenge. Some folks have said the EE is not a corona gorda, others have actually reviewed and submitted the EE. Some websites label the EE corona gorda, others do not. I'm so conflicted. . .

Fuzz Posted August 29, 2017 Posted August 29, 2017 For me, I personally prefer going by the traditional size of 46 x 143 (5.6"), as per CubanCigarWebsite.
