spot the odd one out.

no, seriously, i am just posting to say that i think it testimony to clean living and bible reading that justice has prevailed and the glorious skins triumphed over the hapless tampons (even though played at their home ground - and yes, i am one to gloat).

i think it interesting that suddenly rob has become completely incommunicado. even more interesting is that all rob's earlier posts about the tampons supposed big win have suddenly been deleted and there is no evidence whatsoever remaining.

to be honest, any season where you kick the cowgirls out of the playoffs is a banner year, even better when the skins then actually make it. going further just a bonus.

time to go bear hunting (or seattle seagulls?).

I just got home from the local tavern to watch the Skins romp the Bucs! Smoked and 03 RA 898 and had about 7 black & tans (guesniss & dominion - local microbrew).

Great game & a great smoke (although needs about 2 more years)

'Sup Rob, not so boisterous now! :-P

Can't wait until next week!

Ken,

Good to see that your saftey, criminal, and a guy who spits in someones face will be in trouble for the altercation today. Taylor is one hell of a player but he has got to get rid of his thug attitude.

Congratulations Ken.

Well done to the Skins. That first quarter of Bucs implosion cruelled them and they never really recovered.

It's embarrassing to lose to a team who put together a total 120 yrds of offence. :crying:

if you've got defense like that, who needs offense.

may i just say that the bucs didn't have a completely dud weekend having finally dropped a record that they have reluctantly held for over a 1/4 of a century - namely being the last team to be held to blot at home in the playoffs. congrats giants!

» You gave up over 300 yrds and we still lost :crying:

just to make you feel worse - this from the wash post redskins site - "the Washington Redskins set an NFL record for fewest total yards (120) for a team that won a playoff game. ".

we dream of going 160 yards!

And here is me thinking this thread was going to be about the new Superman flick, currently filming in of all places [link=http://www.ncc.nsw.gov.au]NEWCASTLE![/link]

i really don't want to hammer this too much, and wouldn't except after all the crap i took from rob in 05, what a great way to start the year (and also i know that it is all going to come back, sooner rather than later, which is why i'm delighted to be away all next week and out of forum range) but also from the wash post -

"The Redskins' offense looks like lost luggage. The defense looks like gold. Just last week Gregg Williams signed a contract that made him the highest-paid assistant coach in the history of Western civilization. (We're not sure if that third "g" stands for "genius" or "gazillionaire.") This morning he looks like a steal."

i think it is filming there because that is the only place they would not have to spend money to make it look like lex luther had kryptonited the city. (sorry but in the words of the town's most famous song, don't you ever let a chance go by...)

and one day you might just get the chance to be magnanimous, tho probably not if you keep following the bucs.

junket is such an ugly word and believe me, next week is anything but a junket. miserable work.

tuesday tho, i do have to go to sydney to drink cheval blanc and yquem and if such a thing as a junket existed, this is probably as close to it as you get. but the good thing is that great wine always gives you plenty of stories. crap never does.

great game, happy for gibbs and his ability to adjust the offense to meet the current demands of the NFL
