My two favorites places to go are Casa Fuente in Caesars Palace and Cigar Box. Love the mojitos at Casa Fuente. Cigar Box, which is a little off the strip, has a friendly staff, excellent filtration, and a nice roomy layout.

Run a search. Lots of threads and lots of opinions.

For instance, I can't stand Casa Fuente. Middle of an oasis in the dessert, I want outdoors, and/or luxury. Not under an escalator in a mall.

I don't mind Casa Fuente because that's the only place to get Casa Fuente, but it can be loaded with cigar ignoramuses that can really spoil your time in their tiny humidor.

The new-ish Montecristo in Caesar's is much nicer and seems more high-class to me. Only been there once and this one guy kept handing me cigars and covering my drinks, so I never did make it to their humidor....

Yeah, you can do better than Casa Fuente. The new Montecristo lounge in Ceasers is really nice. The back room does a very good job simulating an outdoor lounge, while also isolating you from the hustle and bustle just outside the door. Drinks aren't cheap, but arent much more than most other places in Vegas. They have an awesome circular/see through walk in at the entrance.

My favorite spot is at the Bellagio pool. Outside, great view, and a much more mature crowd. Just strolling down the strip and people watching (I love the heat) is also hard to beat.

You will need a friend in high places, but check out "The Founders Room" at Mandalay, it probably has the best view of any bar in the state.

I enjoyed sitting outside for a smoke while in Vegas. Rhumbar made a good mojito and there were a few cigar smokers there. I also enjoyed sitting at the Spanish steps for an afternoon and people watching.

Assuming the Vegas trip is happening in the near future, outdoor smoking in 100+ degree heat isn't going to be enjoyable for most people. I save my Vegas outdoor smoking for the non-summer months.

Myself and the 5 other guys I was with found the Montecristo lounge a sterile experience. It is definitely a polished place perhaps better suited for a business meeting.

Rhumbar is good for the more club oriented experience. The loud music makes for difficult conversation, if you are with others.

Davidoff outside the Fashion Mall was super expensive, even for Vegas and Davidoff. The bartender couldn't make a decent cocktail.

I live in AZ. 108 today. Headed to Vegas tomorrow morning.  104 Friday and Saturday.  Not the best environment to smoke outdoors.  I like Casa Fuente because of the mojito.  Bonus that my wife loves the mojitos as well. I will only sit on the patio and I do enjoy people watching at the escalator.  Never been to Monte lounge.  I do the majority of smoking on the casino floor.

agreed.  Casa Fuente.  Try the tangerine mojito.  Then people watch.  In the summer, who wants to be outside in Vegas?  Every Fuente cigar available.

No trip to Vegas is complete without a trip to Case Fuente.

Hey fellas thanks for all the responses. Sounds like all could be good options for me except Monte. I don't do well with snooty it's just not my style. I'd love to be able to sit poolside and have a good cigar, but I don't know if that's gonna happen in 100° heat I may need AC

I'm staying at the Venetian so it looks like Casa Fuentes and Rhumbar are close by

Both Fuente and Rhumbar are great choices, just depends on if you want to be inside or outside.

Casa Fuente is horrible. They watch you like a hawk and are rude. Personally, I do not enjoy being shadowed while cigar shopping. Especially by some young punk that knows nothing about cigars.

Try En Fuego Cigars and Lounge at 328 W Sahara Avenue.  On the north end of the strip just west on W Sahara.  Great little place where they hand roll their own customs.  The owner is friendly and the local patrons are always playing cards and telling tall tales.  Probably not the fanciest but definitely my favorite based on atmosphere, definitely not snobbish.  They also have a newer location in Henderson I haven't been to.

Also they are next door to the Golden Steer Steakhouse.  They don't serve the best steak in town but they have been around since the late 50's and still have tables reserved for Dean Martiin, Sammy Davis Junior and Frank Sinatra.   They used to eat there because most of Vegas was still segregated at the time and the Golden Steer would allow Sammy to eat there with the rest of the Rat Pack. The place has been renovated but not remodeled, so it is vintage 1950's Vegas.  I reserved the Sinatra table and still have fond memories of eating at the same table as Frank.

Have you had Don Antonio's cigars? It would be worth the taxi ride for a good box of custom rolls

Sadly no.  I always got caught up playing poker and smoking my own when I have gone.  Although it is on my list for the next trip.

First of all, bring your own.  It's not just the inflated prices you'll pay at the Strip places for mediocre NCs, it's the fact that many times their storage conditions are poor.  No place that you go to smoke will give you any trouble for bringing your own, especially if you order some drinks.  Most places won't even know what a "cutting fee" is.  So don't even ask.  Just whip out your sticks and smoke away.

Second, forget about places like Casa Fuente or other off-strip cigar shops.  Casa Fuente is like sitting in a strip mall location. Very little Vegas vibe there.  If you want to sit in a local shop lounge, do it back home, not in Vegas.  Don't waste your Vegas trip on suburban-like experiences.  Just my opinion.

If your heart is set on smoking during the day, outside will be hot this time of year.  Most pools you'd be able to find a spot shaded from the sun, but it's still going to be hot.  Most pools will be okay with cigars, but you may want to ask first.

If you can swing it, wait until the sun goes down and hit the Rhumbar patio or the Foundation Room at Mandalay Bay.  You'll be reasonably comfortable outside in the late evening.

Rhumbar will have mildly loud music and lots of hookah smokers around you, but it's worth it.  Great atmosphere right on the Strip.

Foundation Room has no guest list or cover charge if you go in before 9pm.  Tremendous view of the Strip from the balcony on the top floor of the Mandalay Bay tower.  They do have a dress code.  You *might* get away with shorts if they're nice and you wear collared shirt with it, but only if it's a quiet weekday night.  Gets busy weekend nights, and gets clubby after 10pm.  If you're staying at the Venetian, Mandalay Bay is a looong hike.  So unless you've got some wheeled transportation to get you down there (or take the monorail), it might be off your list.

Parasol Down at Wynn is another good spot to smoke.  The sun goes behind their tall waterfall structure fairly early.  Connected to the Palazzo by a walkway over Sands Avenue, so it's easy and quick to get to.

As for indoor, pretty much anywhere else there's a bar attached to the casino floor it will be okay to smoke cigars (Alto at Caesars is the only one I know of that doesn't allow them).  At the Venetian, the Dorsey is a pretty cool spot that has a library room that is a great place to light up.

You may want to pop into Montecristo at Caesars to at least have a look.  It's not snooty in my book, but the drinks are indeed on the spendy side.  But it's a pretty good place for a relaxing seat and watching a game.  You may even run into Gordon Ramsay having a cigar in the Courtyard in the back, as we did last December.

Drinks will be fairly expensive everywhere, figure $14-$18 for mixed drinks and most middle shelf whiskeys.  But if you're on a budget, beers will be a little more reasonable at most places.

Good advice from TheGipper.  I agree about Casa Fuente and Montecristo lounge.  I visited both earlier this year.  When smoking in public, I prefer an isolated place where the primary activity is cigars.  I'd be concerned about pissing someone off at a pool or other bar unless there were a bunch of other cigar smokers there.  Montecristo is a great setting.  I was there on a busy Saturday night.  My only complaint was when the ventilation system wasn't running the smoke built up real fast.  Almost intolerable and I can put with a lot.  The humidor attendants were helpful even with their biases.  They do insist on cutting and lighting the cigar for you ( I guess another complaint).  I find that when you're in a good setting with friends and a nice drink, most well made cigars can be enjoyable, even an average NC.

Thanks to those who mentioned Parasol Up/Down at Wynn. Thread timing couldn't have been better as I was coming to to Vegas this week. I usually stay at Cosmopolitan which has nice balconies but this time I was staying at the Encore for business.

Great place. Good people watching. Very cigar friendly and can bring you own, no cutting fee. Have some NCs for sale if needed. There were 2 other tables with cigar smokers so I didn't feel out of place. Whiskey prices not out of line for the area (Woodford and JW Black are $14 for example). Complementary nuts and chips

That's a deal-breaker for me. I'll pay a reasonable cutting fee with a smile on my face, but the actual cutting and lighting are part of my cigar experience and particulars, so hands off!

I have been to Montecristo at least a half dozen times.  Never did I have anyone insist they cut or light the cigar for me.  They may offer, but certainly you can politely decline.

I think we have all overlooked a viable Vegas cigar smoking option.  You can smoke in all the strip clubs I have been to in Vegas.  The people watching and scenery is usually pretty enjoyable.
