dflan82 Posted August 9, 2017 Posted August 9, 2017 Nice work @spivey6690 I was going back and forth between the RAG and the Lusi when smoking cigar #5...I guessed wrong, haha Thanks to Lisa, Rob and FOH crew again for this year's comp! Cheers 1
MrGlass Posted August 9, 2017 Posted August 9, 2017 Thanks again for hosting this guys. It's been a blast.
Popular Post spivey6690 Posted August 9, 2017 Popular Post Posted August 9, 2017 Wow, that last one was especially tough. Had to use process of elimination to the best of my ability. I have never smoked the RA Gigantes, but I can always count on RA delivering a tasty stick, and that was certainly a tasty stick. Thank you for the congratulations, everyone. Fun competition for sure. I'm sure my wife will be proud of her cigar addict husband when I tell her the good news in the morning haha. Thanks for putting on the competition, FOH. I look forward to the next one! 10
Guest Nekhyludov Posted August 9, 2017 Posted August 9, 2017 My hat is off to everyone who participated. This looks damn tough, and anyone who identified any of the smokes should be commended!
David88 Posted August 9, 2017 Posted August 9, 2017 Well done everyone and especially spivey! 4 out of 5 is an incredible result!
wabashcr Posted August 9, 2017 Posted August 9, 2017 Another 1/5 beating for me this year. Had fun though. Thanks Lisa and team, and congrats Spivey!
tomaszgeorge Posted August 9, 2017 Posted August 9, 2017 Well done Spivey, I'm in awe of your tasting skills. This was great fun! Thanks to the FOH team.

Good to see the mantel being brought to Texas though. Oh, BTW....if I would have won, I would have used to the winnings to buy all my texas brothers a nice 5 pack It came down to the RA and VR for me. I pretty much flipped a coin ha! 2

btort910 Posted August 9, 2017 Posted August 9, 2017 Well done gentlemen. Looks like it was great fun. Just enjoyed seeing everyone's picks and reactions to the reveals.

The flavor profile suggested RA to me. I haven't smoked a lot of VR, but they've never knocked my socks off like RA. I thought cigar #5 was fantastic.

That RA clove note is hard to miss, but I've definitely had RAGs with less of it than any other RA vitola I've had. I think the volado tends to conceal it.
cardinalfan85 Posted August 9, 2017 Posted August 9, 2017 I'm surprised I picked 3/5, that was fun!Sent from my SCH-I535 using Tapatalk
