I have no idea Ken, I take on board the horns issue. I do not profess to know, All I do know is that David said it, and what David says I take as gospel. I guess, they know the animal is not going anywhere, they haven't got the projecting teeth/power for neck kills etc etc. Personally, to me it sort of makes sense, if they are a bite and pull (with powerfull front legs) Hyena style feeder, 'soft spots' as it were may make best sense to open up a cadavour....Again it's not my opinion or belief necessarily, just something Sir Dave said in one of his programmes.
