El Presidente Posted July 24, 2017 Posted July 24, 2017 I was asked to rate mine but I am far more interested in your thoughts. Rate your regular production cigars of 2017 to date (from what you have smoked) . I accept LCDH releases as regular production cigars. Your top 5. Nothing older than 2014. Give it some thought and have a crack

JohnS Posted July 24, 2017 Posted July 24, 2017 Ok, so if we don't include aged cigars or Limited and Regional Editions, according to my ratings from my Smoking Diary (on Cuban Cigar Website) these are the best regular production cigars I've smoked in 2017 so far... Projectal Posted July 24, 2017 Posted July 24, 2017 I'm fairly new to this, so take this with a grain of salt: Bolivar Corona Gigante - 2016 Partagas SD4 - 2016 Montecristo Petite Edmundo - 2016 Cohiba Siglo lll - 2016 Vegas Robaina Don Alejandro - 2015 The interesting thing about this list is the top four share the same factory code (PUR), rolled in the same six month period. Is this coincidence?

Plus it's hard to split those Bolivar Tubos. 1

I almost slashed the Boli's as "Bolivar Tubos 1/3", but how can you discount either in such a fashion! 2

El Hoze Posted July 25, 2017 Posted July 25, 2017 This is very non scientific as I lean into alot of older cigars on a more regular basis but ones that are top of mind from recent sampling include: 1. HU Sir Winston - ELU JUL 15: cracked this one last night and have only had one but it was extremely good even with the high hurdle for a SW. One of the best cigars I've smoked in a while. 2. Lusitanias - PMU JUL 15: one of the very best boxes of Lusis I have and I have dozens. This one is being very slowly sampled. 3. Cohiba Robusto - MUO MAR 14: "newest" box of Coros I have w the old band, perfect wrappers. 4. Siglo VI - MUO JUN 15: "oldest" box of Sig VI I have w the new band. Also sick wrappers. 5. Siglo V - RAE JUL 14: cracked this box last night as well. Great box of a cigar I can't get enough of.
