We could use members help to spread the word.

 I will put up a store credit of $250 USD  $350 AUD for any member who provides a cigar for testing that proves to be of  crystalline substance and not mould.  If you believe you have that cigar (or knows someone who has), take a photo or two and email them to Greg or myself and upon review we will give you the shipping details.  We will only take one to two cigars for testing at a time. We only need one cigar for testing from any individual.

Confidentiality is absolute. 

The purpose of the exercise:

1. To determine if plume exists. 
2. To determine what it is
3. To determine how it formed. 

We will be working in tandem with Biotech laboratories. From receipt to final report is 4-5 weeks.

NC's or Cuban...not a problem. 

We certainly don't want to waste your time.  Take two photo's , one close up /macro and one at a ruler length away. Shoot them through to myself [email protected].

I love how people on /r cigars and elsewhere are so adamant that their cigars have plume.  I would say that when someone is putting up $250 US for proof, and none comes forward, it is a dead issue.  There is no such thing as plume.  It is along the lines of asking money for proof of the loch ness monster or bigfoot.  lots of pictures, but not actual specimens.

Will do, may take me a couple days to get the photos as requested.  In the meantime, I'll send you a pic that I have.  If this is clearly not what you are interested in, no harm done.  I've found the investigation fascinating and frankly what I expected.  I do have this one box, however......

Perhaps, just a new plume camera filter?  The true test is if it just wipes off easily.

This cigar is the only one I currently have with pixie dust on it. I had some fundadores from 2000 that had a lot more on them. If you want to test it rob I will send it.

Hey Rob... I have some 80's RyJ Coronas en cello which have plume on them (crystalline).  Would be interesting to see your results!

I'll go snap a few decent pics and post up on it.
