Guest Nekhyludov Posted July 8, 2017 Posted July 8, 2017 I was recently looking around online for Imperiales - as I do from time to time, hoping I might get lucky - and I saw a listing on a dodgy-looking site that has a spotty reputation, to put it diplomatically. I have no intention of rolling the dice with this vendor. My question is why anyone would bother counterfeiting Quai D'Orsay? Seems a little obscure. Has anyone seen or known of fake Qd'O?
99call Posted July 8, 2017 Posted July 8, 2017 The were available until very recently in Germany. I wont name vendors. I got pictures of a couple of boxes that looked fantastic, Was about to drop the hammer, but with in a week........gone...gone. gone. I think there will be a further window of probably another couple of months until every last scrap of these are in privately owned collections. Up side of counterfitting Quai D'orsay Imperiales. 1, very simple box 2, very simple band 1
TommyLF Posted October 25, 2017 Posted October 25, 2017 I've never seen a fake QD'o cigar... Imho there would be absolutely no gain to fake these...
