Not a roach, but darn tasty.IMG_20170627_203903.thumb.jpg.8f4397ebda27d3cde30e5b8bb61d4025.jpg

I like to smoke them down to the ash particulary the small Cohibas like the siglo 1. When it gets too short I simply pull out my trusty Benchmade barrage pocket knife and stab the end of it to enjoy the last few puffs without cooking my fingers. I think the tool mentioned here may be a better alternative but in the meantime this will have to do

I remember when I bought my roach clip. Bought it in 1971 on Bleecker Street in Greenwich Village in a little "head shop.". Has been with me ever since.

The rolled up back of a matchbook always served me well in those instances. Would need to be one massive matchbook to work for cigars though.  Does anyone use an old-school cheroot holder? Maybe they're too narrow for most modern cigars?

Yup, that's how I nub a cigar, personally. Never really used a tool, though I have a PerfectDraw, so maybe I'll try it sometime.

Reminds me of crocodile Dundee " now that's a knife ". A nice manly way to finish a cigar

Stabbing your cigar with a hunting knife is the coolest thing I've ever seen. I usually smoke them to about an inch, but having seen that, I'll be finishing them that way from now on.

I wonder what the people at the rowing club will think.
