 Cigar is slightly pressed, with a dark chocolate wrapper that's precise and even. Lights readily and produces a rich, cool smoke. Ash is flaky and gray. Initial aroma is thick with walnut and truffle, with a hint of candied ginger sweetness emerging in the first third. The early profile is deeply leathery, with peat and black pepper notes on the palate.

At the midpoint, an oak and almond flavor emerges as the sweetness recedes. The body remains rich and full throughout. Burn tunnels throughout; needs time in the humidor to acclimate. Pairs well with a very strong, creamy Italian roast. A beautiful, rich robusto.
