I'm on fly lines too, but a very different set up. Light line going on my new Hardy Cascapedia Mkii 2/3/4 for tarn and beck trout fishing in the Lake District. Getting camping gear sorted and ready for next weekend's start to the trip as I won't have time to do it in the week. Hammocks and open fires, minimum kit, love it. Can't wait, but sorting the kit out makes it seem like it's starting early.

BIL works for a Ford auto racing, got the family suite tickets to the NASCAR race in Charlotte Saturday evening.  Neighbors are doing a crawfish boil all weekend.  I think it will be a pretty solid two days.

I've been silly enough to sign up for my first half marathon on Saturday. I think Sunday will need to be good food and a good cigar with my feet up!

Demoing some new golf training aids from vendors for possible addition to the store.

Posted this when I got back from Chicago yesterday, which completed a grueling 6 weeks on the road.  I actually thought it was Friday.  Whoops.

Hababa, you were close enough!

I'll be hanging out with an old friend while his wife is away, just relaxing and hoping we get a chance for stogie and there will definitely be beer.

Right now Dewars and a Siglo IV after yard mowing for the neighbors and enjoying a passing storm on the screen porch.  Tomorrow folding bulletins for the church in the a.m. Relaxing until a killler Italian dinner with friends, then more of what I'm doing now!  Everyone have a safe and great weekend!!

   * I signed up for one of those a thousand years ago - a twenty-six mile walk-a-thon for charity.  I don't know WHAT I was thinking (I was pretty much a goofball in those days), and I chose to wear my nice dress shoes on it - der, der, derrr...:dunce:  I had to call it after the eleventh mile.

Well, certainly not planned, but ended up having to replace the drum belt on the family clothes dryer....  Would think that would earn me a favor, but I'll likely be on the porch sipping from a new bottle of Zaya rum and trying a RyJPC for the Ode to 40/42 reviews (which have all been fantastice @El Presidente !!)  Huge participation for this one.

I vote you light up a cigar WHILE running the race. Remember. Pics or it didn't happen.

Guess I'm a little late... So, how did the half marathon treat you?

It actually wasn't too bad, managed to get round in under 2 hours so I'm pleased. Although it just happened to be the on the one day of the year that we had 3 hours of rain in Mongolia! I'm feeling it today though!
