This tune is like a the best lancero you've ever had, fantastic progression, smooth, and a good few twists and turns. One of my ultimate kick back and relax picks

Fantastic tune!  I've got some of his stuff but haven't been listening to it in the last couple of years.  A definite reminder to go back and listen to his stuff.  Also love the comparison with a great lancero.

Because it is Cinco di Mayo, some Rodrigo y Gabriela:

My son just bought 'The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders of Mars' by David Bowie this week. Time to re-connect with some classic David Bowie!

Been absolutely knocked out by Miles lately...     And I have to say Pablo Casals' interpretations of Bach's  suites for cello have been incredibly soothing.

You guys are making me dig up the old archives to listen to some music I haven't listened to in over a decade. Great fun and shoutout to jazzboypro, 99call and everyone else.

BellevilleMXZ, age should never be a barrier to listening to good music.  Its a good song, maybe not exactly my taste but then taste is individual, as cigars shows us.

I remember listening on this on my mother's console stereo.  Lovely.

That's my memory too.  My dad had the LP and he played it quite frequently and that's why it holds many good memories for me.

This group was introduced to me by a great friend a few years back. Timeless and puts me in a focused relaxed state...

I normally prefer a little heavier music than this and I really don't want to like this band but I can't help it. They've consistently put out great albums. Their drummer is extremely talented and keeps me hooked.

A good piece to break out of a music funk.  This is what all school bands should be like.

If, like me, you skipped this cos it's a US school band - don't!

Have a look, it's genius (post no. 18)

I'm into the blues and Elvin Bishop has been putting out some new stuff that rocks.  My favorite new song is You can't even do wrong right!  I don't know about you, but I knew someone like this.

He also has a new album out and called his Big Fun Trio and I love the first cut.

Another artist that I just recently discovered is Beth Hart doing Jazz Man.  She's very popular in Europe and has been around for years.

The Backatown album by Trombone Shorty is really great jazz music and we listen to it a lot.  This guy rocks the trombone and the whole album is just one great song after another.

From possibly my favourite album of all time (album = songs you play in sequence with no skipping, like in the old days).  Songs written when he had no money and no label ie. songs he really meant.

Yes, totally agree.  In my case, the only David Gray album that I still listen to is A Century Ends, from the early 90s.

Great stuff.  I also do the first 2 tracks of White Ladder on a constant loop.  Some songs just conjure up a long golden summer.

Very nice.  I think the intimate atmosphere of his (early) recordings make good demo material for headphone, DACs, and amps, for my taste.

Here are a couple of my favorites from artists which are on tour this spring and summer.  Lucky enough to score some tickets to these shows!
