One of my ultimate kick back and relax picks Fantastic tune! I've got some of his stuff but haven't been listening to it in the last couple of years. A definite reminder to go back and listen to his stuff. Also love the comparison with a great lancero.
Rustyman Posted May 6, 2017 Posted May 6, 2017 You guys are making me dig up the old archives to listen to some music I haven't listened to in over a decade. Great fun and shoutout to jazzboypro, 99call and everyone else.
BellevilleMXZ Posted May 6, 2017 Posted May 6, 2017 Even though I'm almost 50, I find I like some of the newer stuff. Just started listening to some of these guys stuff.....good stuff for the 2 hr daily commute Death Cab For Cutie
Rustyman Posted May 6, 2017 Posted May 6, 2017 BellevilleMXZ, age should never be a barrier to listening to good music. Its a good song, maybe not exactly my taste but then taste is individual, as cigars shows us. 1

bman75 Posted May 6, 2017 Posted May 6, 2017 And here is meth-riddled biker trash midwest USA rock. The dialogue at 2:45 is worth the price of admission. ' 1

YOM'$ Posted May 6, 2017 Posted May 6, 2017 https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=O4cenKeu2FI white denim is the band and it's nice to find a band Having a classic rock sound and some originality. I sure hope music can find its stride back to something like this! Cheers and smokes up. YOM$! (How do I get the YouTube image to show?!???)
awkwardPause Posted May 6, 2017 Posted May 6, 2017 This group was introduced to me by a great friend a few years back. Timeless and puts me in a focused relaxed state...Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk 1
SloppyJ Posted May 6, 2017 Posted May 6, 2017 I normally prefer a little heavier music than this and I really don't want to like this band but I can't help it. They've consistently put out great albums. Their drummer is extremely talented and keeps me hooked.
Akela3rd Posted May 6, 2017 Posted May 6, 2017 A good piece to break out of a music funk. This is what all school bands should be like. If, like me, you skipped this cos it's a US school band - don't! Have a look, it's genius (post no. 18) Thunder & Lightening '75-'15
saintsmokealot Posted May 6, 2017 Posted May 6, 2017 Fight fire with fire or funk with funk. Joe Krown Trio Hot 8 Brass Band covering Sexual Healing Trombone Shorty feat. Lenny Kravitz 3
tsolomon Posted May 6, 2017 Posted May 6, 2017 I'm into the blues and Elvin Bishop has been putting out some new stuff that rocks. My favorite new song is You can't even do wrong right! I don't know about you, but I knew someone like this. He also has a new album out and called his Big Fun Trio and I love the first cut. 1
tsolomon Posted May 6, 2017 Posted May 6, 2017 Another artist that I just recently discovered is Beth Hart doing Jazz Man. She's very popular in Europe and has been around for years.

Lenny Kravitz The Backatown album by Trombone Shorty is really great jazz music and we listen to it a lot. This guy rocks the trombone and the whole album is just one great song after another. 1

Songs written when he had no money and no label ie. songs he really meant. Yes, totally agree. In my case, the only David Gray album that I still listen to is A Century Ends, from the early 90s. 1

planetary Posted May 6, 2017 Posted May 6, 2017 Here are a couple of my favorites from artists which are on tour this spring and summer. Lucky enough to score some tickets to these shows!
