No respect at all, the whole lot of 'em. Show us a pic of your Panama. I was looking into getting one for the summer. But I will probably opt for this smoking cap: 1

Colt45 Posted May 3, 2017 Posted May 3, 2017 Truly awesome, and a great pic Wouldn't mind a jacket myself. 1

That was another recent acquisition that I forgot to mention. It is a great smoking jacket. Big pockets that can hold my cigar case (sometimes pipe tobacco tins), lighter and cutter. A worthwhile investment :D:D:D 1

MrGlass Posted May 4, 2017 Posted May 4, 2017 I like it. I have a smoking dressing gown, but that is really just my regular dressing gown that I wear while smoking when it starts to cool down. 1

planetary Posted May 4, 2017 Posted May 4, 2017 In the late 90s, on Usenet's alt.smokers.pipes newsgroup, there occurred a series of posts by a mysterious author claiming to be A Sophisticate Like Myself. The smoking hat and accompanying jacket has put me in mind of his posts. All that's needed to complete the ensemble is a gold-tipped cane, an antique leather settee, and a butler standing at brisk attention in the remote corner. Capital, old chap! 1

Is that a Derrek Rose? I was considering a smoking jacket, but there aren't too many options that aren't costumes or meant to be "ironic."

There are some ridiculous smoking jackets out there. Or "smoking jackets" that are actually just dinner jackets. Which isn't something that I needed.I believe Derek Rose is the best one out there. Highly recommend!Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
SignalJoe Posted May 4, 2017 Posted May 4, 2017 I believe we should start a Go fund me page to raise funds for smoking caps and jackets for Rob and Ken to wear in their video reviews. At the very least we could use the money to buy Ken some shoes. 2

With the Friends of Habanos logo in the center and at the back of the cap it can have "Life is not a dress rehearsal" stitched in. I would certainly buy one. And yes - Ken does need a pair of shoes. 1
Luca Posted May 5, 2017 Author Posted May 5, 2017 Haha! I think those are the only shoes Ken would wear Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
Akela3rd Posted May 5, 2017 Posted May 5, 2017 Many years ago my mother brought me back a cap from Mongolia which I only wore in the garden/garage as it stank of horse. Had to wash my head each time I wore it and eventually, with a heavy heart, I chucked it which pleased the Mrs no end. However, inspired by the OP I've just ordered a smoking cap from BraverGrace and shall resume stylish hattage at the earliest possible moment. But, I will not be rocking the 'tache.Thunder & Lightening '75-'15 1
