Are you telling me that it was the Romans who did the violation of the Sabine women thing? I don't mind being wrong and corrected, but again - as it was mentioned in my original statement - the Greeks, because of their officialized life style, were not re-populating. So they abducted the women of Sheba or the "Sabian" regions because they were known to be fertile, child-bearing-wise. And no real "HEY YOU!" condemnation of the Greeks meant here - women were kidnapped, abducted, etc. REGULARLY during those ancient battle scarred, warlike days. Again, if you have or know something different, I'll bite.

rhcolbert Posted April 28, 2017 Posted April 28, 2017 Leonardo DiCaprio in almost anything. Yes, he's a good actor and did a great job leveraging who he would work with to get serious parts. the departed bothers me the most.

It's a remake ... and when was the last time a Hollywood remake of a foreign film was any good?
kuma Posted April 29, 2017 Posted April 29, 2017 Steven Segal in any of his later movies as a puffy over weight crime / judo / karate and a number one all american good guy taking care of the bad guys. Pitiful! Or John Wayne again in "The Green Berets" totally a fish in the wrong pond! Take your pick no winners here!
