just heard the very sad news. john clarke apparently passed away on the weekend.

one of the funniest men on the planet. and the best thing to ever come out of new zealand.

he will be greatly missed. such a sad loss.

Incredibly funny, John Clarke was a satirist of the highest class. I will miss his witty interviews with Bryan Dawe. Rest in Peace.

Always loved watching his bit with Bryan Dawe on Thursday nights after the 7.30 Report. Sad to hear of his passing. A bloody funny bloke.

This is sad news. John Clarke was such a sharp wit and generous character. His political sketches with Richard Dawe were just the best.
