Ken Gargett Posted April 10, 2017 Posted April 10, 2017 just heard the very sad news. john clarke apparently passed away on the weekend. one of the funniest men on the planet. and the best thing to ever come out of new zealand. he will be greatly missed. such a sad loss.
JohnS Posted April 10, 2017 Posted April 10, 2017 Incredibly funny, John Clarke was a satirist of the highest class. I will miss his witty interviews with Bryan Dawe. Rest in Peace. http://www.smh.com.au/entertainment/tv-and-radio/renowned-satirist-john-clarke-dead-at-68-20170409-gvhg1r.html
Fuzz Posted April 10, 2017 Posted April 10, 2017 Always loved watching his bit with Bryan Dawe on Thursday nights after the 7.30 Report. Sad to hear of his passing. A bloody funny bloke.
ATGroom Posted April 10, 2017 Posted April 10, 2017 Very sad. The Games was pretty much the funniest television to ever come out of Australia.
Williamos Posted April 10, 2017 Posted April 10, 2017 RIP John Clarke. Love the way he satirised political double-speak using the same voice and mannerism for whoever he was imitating. A wonderful talent. Vale.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
poorman Posted April 10, 2017 Posted April 10, 2017 Remember first time I saw this, couldn't stop laughing 1
Leopolis Semper Fidelis Posted April 10, 2017 Posted April 10, 2017 To Kiwis, he will forever be Fred Dagg.
Smokin Joe Posted April 10, 2017 Posted April 10, 2017 This is sad news. John Clarke was such a sharp wit and generous character. His political sketches with Richard Dawe were just the best.
