Fuzz Posted February 14, 2017 Posted February 14, 2017 Damn that's far away from the stage. How is Ken gonna get up and dance with Bruce? Do the seats come with binoculars and a small radio to listen to the telecast of the show? 1

nonameno Posted February 14, 2017 Posted February 14, 2017 Hey Guys, That looks like a tremendously enjoyable concert and time spent together! Thank you and best wishes, Curtiss
JR Kipling Posted February 14, 2017 Posted February 14, 2017 Sounds like you had a great time. - - You brought back memories of the first time I heard a Springsteen song. I was a college kid and it was Tenth Avenue Freeze Out. During a time inundated with disco I thought "Man, I gotta hear more from that guy !"Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk Pro

Popular Post El Presidente Posted February 14, 2017 Author Popular Post Posted February 14, 2017 It all seemed so familiar.....and then it dawned on me. It was like a three hour deck review with pictures. Springsteen is certainly a brilliant performer and I did enjoy it...had a great time The Springsteen crowd are completely in awe. It is man love of the highest order. There is some "Trekkie" cult going on that I just don't connect to and that is fine. I mean....look at the adoration in this shot The crowd looked stunned when he finished at the 3 hour mark. The disappointment was palpable which is testament to how much they treasure him. The poor bloke is near 70 and had given everything. Cut him a break (Bruce....not Ken.) So...come 10:30pm I broke out the abseiling gear and rappelled down from the highest peak of the entertainment centre. ken broke free of the huge crowd tucking and rolling to the VIP carpark. VIP carpark you ask?...yes...ken arrived so early to the concert that there was no one there. He could park where he wanted. Many thanks for a great evening Ken! Happy Valentines Day mate. * Bruce is the guy on stage with the light on him....I think. 10
JohnS Posted February 14, 2017 Posted February 14, 2017 You lucky guys! You were so far away that you were literally 'dancing in the dark'! I'm glad you all had a great time! 1

With Ken being such a huge Bruce fan I assumed you guys would be right up front. Glad to hear you survived and that a good time was had by all.
PigFish Posted February 15, 2017 Posted February 15, 2017 ... is that blood running out of your ears, or am I seeing things??? -LOL Glad you had a good time. -R
planetary Posted February 15, 2017 Posted February 15, 2017 The best part is that Ken will find a way to secure a bootleg audio recording of the concert so Rob can enjoy it ad infinitum during future reviews on the deck! It will the beginning of a Groundhog Day time loop which will never end until Lt. Cmdr Data can find a way to encode a clue for Rob into the next time loop. <looks around the room for fellow Trekkies>
OZCUBAN Posted February 15, 2017 Posted February 15, 2017 You can download all of Bruce's concerts he records each show from FOH sound board /mixing desk available in HD/audio/flac apple lossless
Lotusguy Posted February 15, 2017 Posted February 15, 2017 Ken - with those seats in the nosebleed section, you have lost your official superfan status 2
SignalJoe Posted February 15, 2017 Posted February 15, 2017 I think what El Presidente has been kind enough not to mention is the reason they sat in the nose bleed section. Apparently Bruce has a restraining order against Ken and this was as close as he was legally allowed to be. The reason why is clearly evident in the photo above. It just screams obsessed stalker. That or he has seen his feet in the review videos and decided distance is the better part of valor. Just kidding Ken hope you enjoyed the show. 1
Ken Gargett Posted February 16, 2017 Posted February 16, 2017 first, ayala with his super wide angle lens made it look so much smaller than it was. we were much closer than the impression gives. but they were the best seats i could get as i had to wait for rob 'continents drift faster' ayala to make a decision on coming or not (brownie points for Di eventually won out). back again tonight. 3
