Jimmy_jack Posted February 7, 2017 Posted February 7, 2017 Petit Edmundo for me. Neither Juan Lopez I find hard/strong with a kick. Strange.
ksblazer Posted February 7, 2017 Posted February 7, 2017 Had a Bolivar tubes no.1 yesterday and it was the strongest Cuban cigar I've had in a while. Stronger than the Boli PCs, CJs BBFs I have.
scap99 Posted February 7, 2017 Posted February 7, 2017 Had a Punch DC last night. Was feeling pretty good by the time I got to the nub....but that was before dinner.
anjimj Posted February 7, 2017 Posted February 7, 2017 RACA is the only Cuban cigar to ever kick my ass. I'm letting those rest for awhile because I'm afraid to smoke it in all honesty.

It does have some kick to it. Very full flavor, too. I find it a bit heavy on the earthy and leathery bits... Would like it more with a touch of fruit or sweetness...

s1911 Posted February 9, 2017 Posted February 9, 2017 I'd say the Romeo Y Julieta Cazadores as well and the Partagas Selection Privada's are pretty damn powerful! 1
Danimalia Posted February 9, 2017 Posted February 9, 2017 Bolivar Royal Coronas, to me, are a good pick. The Royals offer a lot of leather and spice (but with good sweetness for balance). If you like JL2s, then Monte PEs might be a good choice, though they're not long smokes. I don't really find Ramon Allones to be strong, but the RASCC are certainly full-flavored and delicious, and RA gets mentioned as a stronger marca. I've been enjoying hell out of the new Illusione Garigiste. I found the robustos to be quite feisty. Non-Cuban, but excellent and worth a look. 1
dominattorney Posted February 13, 2017 Posted February 13, 2017 Can't tell if anyone said bolivar corona Gigante yet, but...yea. that one.
