Cuban cigars in Mexico

Lots of fakes in the small shops in Cancun, the only place I would sometimes stop and have an (overpriced) smoke would be la casa del habano, Mexico has a huge tax on cigars. From time to time I see legit habanos at the GDL airport duty fee shops but always pass on them because of the price and probably dry humidor. I always take my own habanos when traveling to Mexico or elsewhere.

The only place I would purchase cigars from would be la casa del Habano in Cancun, playa del Carmen, or Cozumel, they are all very expensive, not bad if you only want a few cigars, almost all other stores sell fakes, all flea markets are fakes, better of buying from here, the quality is hit or miss in Mexico, take care
