I have a small anti-allergy air thingie - supposed to suck smoke as well. Seems to work ok - along with a smoke-sucking air freshner.

At any rate, its my house. My rules.

I gave up after realizing that nothing was going to wipe out the smell completely and how much my 13 year old daughter hates the smell. Bought a fishing shanty with a portable propane heater, put it o

I just recently received this unit: Airpura T-600 - a Canadian product (http://www.airpura.com/airpura_products.html). I have not tried it yet but turned it on to check out the suction - it's pre

I'm sure this doesn't need to be said....but I'll say it anyway:

Make sure the ashtray is emptied and cleaned...just the ash residue in the ashtray leaves a lingering odor...

I'll add to this that a cigar butt is the worse offender if anything left in the room. I keep a Mason jar in my room. Everything gets placed in it nightly and once a week gets emptied, straight to the garage container.

No need to if you run an O3 generator on a timer for 20-40 minutes after leaving the room. I can have 5 stinky nubs in a tray and you can stick your nose right in it and there is no smell at all. Pretty crazy

That is crazy.............

I just bought it on Amazon for $69.95.  Free shipping.

That's the one I bought before I returned it. Seemed to "give that smell" so I'm guessing it works.

"That smell" will be strong the first time you use it, especially if you set it for a long time. Like anything else you will figure out what works for your space. Took me a couple weeks to get dialed in to what works for me.

I also forgot to mention before that it is best to circulate the air in the space while generating. Box fan is what I use. I also let one of the exhaust fans run while it works. If you leave the air still it will not move the O3 into everything and the smell will last longer after it shuts off

That a good tip. It just didn't work for me as the room couldn't be closed off and that o3 just hung in the room...box fan might have helped.

Yes - I'm actually going to let the air purifier run at the same time.  It sucks in the air and pushes it out the top.  And as you mentioned - sucking in the O3 may also help to keep the charcoal filtration cleaner longer too.
