Blair athol highlands 25 yr scotch?

Hey guys my local store said he's getting one bottle of this in for 199. I haven't heard it and/or tried this before but he swears by it and said it is very rare. I'm having trouble finding much about it online. Anyone have any info, tasting notes, or experience with this bottle?

Hi Seth, great to hear from you! I had a complimentary 50ml sampling bottle of this sent with an online purchase from a company in Melbourne when I bought a bottle of Kavalan Solist Vinho Barrique Single Malt Whisky from them early last year. I am grateful I did so. Firstly, that Kavalan award winner is now nigh on impossible to source, secondly, the Blair Athol Single Malt was really, really good.

Perhaps others more knowledgeable than myself can add further information on this rare Whisky.

I ended up going with the Fettercairn Highlands 1997.  Great scotch, very smooth and easy to drink.  Very impressive and less than half the sticker price of the Blair.
