Popular Post Puros Y Vino Posted December 12, 2016 Popular Post Posted December 12, 2016 A while back I bought an old binder full of Pre-Embargo (and a few Post-Embargo) bands all nicely displayed. Below are the 20 Pages from that binder for your perusal. Some are a bit blurry, I think the plastic sheaths the bands are sitting in caused that effect. Otherwise, enjoy. There's some really interesting bands, a lot of one offs or private label examples too. Bonus. 1960's/70's Spanish Distributor Pamphlet. EL_Habano-PrintReadyV2.pdf 14
Akela3rd Posted December 12, 2016 Posted December 12, 2016 This is fascinating. When I have time tomorrow I'm going to sit down, light up a cigar and have a proper perusal. Thanks for sharing.
zeedubbya Posted December 12, 2016 Posted December 12, 2016 Very cool thanks for sharing! It's amazing how similar the Tomas Guitreriez (sp.) band is to the Partagas P,D,E,C bands.
luv2fly Posted December 12, 2016 Posted December 12, 2016 Fantastic! Would have loved to smoke one of each! Thanks for posting.
Jimmy_jack Posted December 12, 2016 Posted December 12, 2016 The yellow "El Miguel" is a dead ringer for the current Juan Lopez.
SaintMickey® Posted December 13, 2016 Posted December 13, 2016 Beautiful. Almost makes you want to have them do a "re-issue" of them...but the counterfeiters would have a field day. Love that blue Hoyo band the most and the ones with just numbers are interesting to me for some reason.
dicko Posted December 13, 2016 Posted December 13, 2016 very cool. thanks for posting. Love the old RA band
garbandz Posted December 13, 2016 Posted December 13, 2016 excellent bandz, worth a lot to a collector. Nothing in my collection like them.............
jschrader510 Posted December 13, 2016 Posted December 13, 2016 also a big fan of those blue Hoyo bands. Thank you for sharing!

Did they come with dates that the bands were used? Expand No details. Definitely a mix of Pre and some post embargo, like the 1971 Beisbol band.
El Presidente Posted December 14, 2016 Posted December 14, 2016 What a fantastic walk through history mate. Thanks for sharing 1
aliz388 Posted December 16, 2016 Posted December 16, 2016 Royal blue bands look so good.. surprising that none of the marcas use one. Hoyo should consider switching back for one of their lines....Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
