irratebass Posted December 6, 2016 Posted December 6, 2016 This was brought up in another forum I visit, but it was for NC's mostly...so If you could only fill your humidor with two marcas, what would they be? This is more difficult than you think.
Homebrew Posted December 6, 2016 Posted December 6, 2016 Difficult Hell, Damn near impossible. I would have a tough time limiting it to three. I love my Bolivar PCs, and miss the CE, as well as the lonsdales. I Love my Partagas 898, PC especiales, and miss the Churchill DeLuxe, I liked them much better than the Lusi. But I also love most of the H. Upmann, line And the Montecristo line. Screw trying to limit it to two. Dave (A.K.A. Homebrew) 1
Ethernut Posted December 6, 2016 Posted December 6, 2016 Theres a part of me that believes that Marca's don't really exist (just a small part). Then, with great examples of the Marca's there are common threads (as Prez says "DNA") that appear. I think for me the better question is, pick 2 that are on their game, the way you remembered them when they were their best (like that perfect golf shot). ..and for me it's unabashedly: Bolivar Diplomaticos (with Partagas as a close second) ...but alas! variety is the spice of life and all that. If I could only have 2 perfect cigars in my humi, I'd eventually get bored and probably quit smoking cigars all-together. 1
Troels Posted December 6, 2016 Posted December 6, 2016 Bolivar and upmann would give me most of the spectre
topdiesel Posted December 6, 2016 Posted December 6, 2016 Half my humidor is already half Bolivar so that is an easy choice. The second marca would be the tough decision. Some marcas would limit your choice to only 1-3 different cigars, so Cohiba for the variety and sizes I prefer.
TheMonk Posted December 6, 2016 Posted December 6, 2016 That's a really though one, but I'd say Upmann and Partagas.
SaintMickey® Posted December 6, 2016 Posted December 6, 2016 Bolivar and HoyoSent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
BMWBen Posted December 6, 2016 Posted December 6, 2016 I would say at this point Hoyo De Monterrey and Bolivar, but I still have many more marca's to try before I could really say for sure
hellorockview12 Posted December 6, 2016 Posted December 6, 2016 I think it's Partagas and Upmann for me.... lots of variety of vitolas in their regular production lines.... But I'd be one sad man missing Montecristo, Bolivar, SLR and PL...... Please tell me this will never happen.
rxavier1979 Posted December 6, 2016 Posted December 6, 2016 Upmann and Bolívar... but Cohiba would be a wise choice in terms of diversity... sigh... I don't like this game 3
strikethebox7 Posted December 6, 2016 Posted December 6, 2016 Cohiba and trinidad for me, tough choice though diplomatico's would be a sad lose

zeedubbya Posted December 6, 2016 Posted December 6, 2016 Partagas and Cohiba. Upmann a very very very close 3rd. I almost put Upmann and Cohiba, but I could not do without Lusis and D4s--can't imagine my life without them.
jschrader510 Posted December 6, 2016 Posted December 6, 2016 Hoyo and Upmann, although I genuinely enjoy so many more.
garbandz Posted December 6, 2016 Posted December 6, 2016 easy........... Monte Upmann I like most of the Vitolae in both marcas.........
foursite12 Posted December 6, 2016 Posted December 6, 2016 Upmann and Partagas. Wide range of diversity plus at least a couple of superstars in each.
BrightonCorgi Posted December 6, 2016 Posted December 6, 2016 Tough one... I'd like to say Cohiba and Bolivar.... but my heart says Upmann and LGC.
ErikB Posted December 6, 2016 Posted December 6, 2016 Would have to be Hoyo during the day and Partagas in the evening. Or Upmann and Bolivar.Verzonden vanaf mijn iPhone met Tapatalk
