... as I never play by the rules, before hunting for food, RAPC. After hunting or commingling with native women, a Partagas Seleccion Privada (no, a real one!).

I've started to post on this thread three times. The first time it was going to be the CCE. The next time it was almost the ConnA. And last night I almost hit submit with the Sir Winston. So I guess I got nothin' :)

Went through a similar process.  But I can say with certainty Sir Winston.  My only reservation is that they're a lot larger vitola than I'd favor for eternity.

If I honestly could only have 1 type of cigar for the rest of my life, I would most likely give it up as the pleasure for me is the variety available. But, if I had to answer the question based on my experience to date, I'd say the CoRo.

Super tough choice, life is great we have options. Sir Winstons. Boxes of them.

Money not an option ARG 14,15 Siglo 6.  I would seek out 1,000s of boxes.  Best cigar I've had in recent memory.

Timeframe not an option Early 2000's (2002,2003,2004,2005) D4--Some would be bad, some would be ok, but a lot would be legendary!

Money and time an option Partagas Shorts or maybe PLPC, or maybe RASCC, or maybe Monte 5, or maybe El Principe....probably Shorts.

Of all time would be a mid-90s BRC. My favorite cigar of all time. Runner up would be mid-90s RyJ Ex 4.

Of post-1998 production, assuming it was at it's very best, would be a Boli Tubos No.1 or a BCG. Runners up would be a firecracker Mag 46 or HU No. 2, El Principe, or Monte 3.

Simply too hard to pick one cigar these days. As Piggy says, you have to smoke what HSA gives you.

Not because it's my favourite cigar , but because I find that they're all different from each other : plpc

Partagas Grand Reserva and hopefully the island I am stranded on does not have avocado as the only food source or I would die.

If I could pick one cigar forever it would be 44 ring gauge or under and between 6-8 inches long. Then the inevitable would be that I'd quit smoking cigars, I'm sure, within 100 years from boredom.

Gotta go with  the H.Upman #2........LUB

That's a good one and would be on top 5, but for me it's got to be Sir Winston.  Great flavor, always well constructed, and I am Churchill fan.

Pick one...

You can only pick one cigar to smoke forever.

Mine due to consistency(luck?), ring gauge, cost and flavor would be a Bolivar Royal Corona.  Even when they have been bad they have been ok in my opinion. I've tried bigger and "better" cigars but have been disappointed and always go back to this cigar.

Which would yours be?  ONLY ONE in this thread. Clearly we all have 2,3,4 thru 19 favorites but this is the ONE forever if you had to pick.

Nice choice! The BRC would be up there for me, however I would go with the Hoyo De Monterrey Epicure No. 2.
