I'm smoking the first Bolivar Belicoso Fino I've had in about 2 years.

Just started but so far I can tell this is going to be fantastic...An obligatory attempt at a photo.

What are you smoking this evening?

Revisited Connie 1 for about 5th time--sorry to disappoint, but I am just not impressed.  It's just Meh to me.  Very light and pretty one dimensional.  I've been told I need to smoke one with some age. Who knows?  Just one dumbasses' (me) opinion.

I have never smoked one young but have a couple of boxes from 2011 that are wonderful

Mag 46s are great sticks.  Smoke one with 5 to 8 years on it and you'll become a "preacher" instead of just a believer.

RyJ Churchill... My third from 3 singles I bought last month. The first one was excellent. The second one was plugged. Just a total disaster. Quite happy to say this one has a beautiful draw and is developing quite nicely.

Just a quick El Principe in my car in the carport before the Mrs and kids see me.

For the record, it's magnificent

They have really brought the Churchill back to its former glory. I believe these were neglected for whatever reason but now the RyJ Churchill is returning to its rightful place in the world of Habanos.

It's probably not my favorite flavor profile, but no question the one I smoked last night was a top notch, classy cigar. Curious to see how the shorts/wides/petits compare.

Just finished a RyJ Ex4 in sub 40F weather. It was colder than a polar bear's toe nails and I was in full winter gear (beanie, long johns, gloves, and down jacket). Had to take 2 breaks to warm up a bit...guess it's time to reach for the minutos next go around ??❄️?☃️?⛄️?

I've had lots of plug issues on these, too. When they draw, they're fabulous.  Even though I keep them at 61 rh, I've had good luck after drying out the last 3-4 even lower. Give it a try.

A mid afternoon smoke on a walm Melbourne afternoon. The Trinidad Reyes. Rich, dark espresso flavours, a little peppery, a black cherry undertone, and possibly a little slated caramel after taste. Enjoyed with a strong caffitiere of coffee. Very pleasant indeed. A short but satisfying smoke. Deciding today will be a 2 cigar day and mulling over what's next for this evening after dinner.

Haven't had the shorts or the PC (That's gonna change here pretty quick) but the Wides are off the charts--Morello cherries in spades. I keep drooling on my box waiting for them to hit the 30 day mark. The Churchill is more elegant in its presentation of flavors. Kind of like how an Espy is a super classy, elegant representation of the classic Cohiba flavor profile. Very elegant cigar.

Haha. Did you get it as part of a NC RyJ sampler? I got it back when I first started smoking cigars 10 years or so ago. The cigars were not memorable, but the ashtray has been pretty good at allowing me to set down my cigars w/o starting a fire, wo what else can I ask for?

My favorite ashtray is a Versace ashtray with a funny story behind it. A former executive in finance at a past employer got popped for embezzlement and as part of his sentence, he had to make restitution, so my employer basically got all of his (largely tacky) stuff. We tried to auction it all off, but the ashtray just never seemed to catch any interest. I can't imagine any other circumstance where I'd purchase a designer ashtray, but I am happy to have it, and I like it.

It's a real bummer and to my mind, completely unacceptable for such a high-profile (and fairly costly) cigar. I'll definitely experiment with the storage if I get more of these. I prefer the Bolivar CGs, but the RyJ is available in 10 boxes, so it's a possibility.

Yea I got a RyJ sampler from JR's, this huge store thats sort of like a strange, bigger Walmart in the Carolina's somewhere on my way down south on vacation.  I don't remember the cigars for the life of me, I didn't smoke much back then, but it's a fine ashtray.
