One of our favourite clients has invited Rob, Di and myself to their clients Christmas dinner.  Rather nice place in town called Black Bird where you can buy your Tomahawk steaks by the kilo.  Mmmmm my mouth is watering already just thinking about it.

Anyway enough about he food, back to my problem.  Rob has pointed out that he is in Sydney with a  bunch of cigars and cannot make it to the dinner, so Di has asked me to be her hot date.  On the hotness front Rob isn't much competion to me so I'm not worried about trying to keep up with him, but I want to make sure I look good for Di.

So what should I wear guys I need help.  And before you jump in and put up a picture of Borat in a Mankini, remember I can ban whoever I like from this forum and this is for Di benefit not mine.

Last "hot" date I went too that I had to dress up for I went with

Black Slacks
Black Dress Shirt, sleeves rolled to the elbows
Black Vest
Neck Tie (same colour as my dates dress)
Black Shoes (I wore leather converse all stars, but I'm funny like that)

Surprised I haven't received a text yet.

Anyway, since it's nearly December..... I would run a white collared shirt with sleeves rolled up, navy shorts (above knee) no belt, long socks (mid shin) and a flashy pair of brogues. Maybe some monk straps.

You're welcome.

I'm pretty sure there will be no one else wearing this cheeky little number.

Some of us on FoH have been partnered/married for so long...I wouldn't know what to wear on a date. I get told what to wear and I wear it...I'm a good husband! :lmao:

I think the most important thing is to make Di feel safe.

You know being 50 something and single...naturally people are going to have some uncomfortable questions. I think this ensemble will put many of those questions to rest...

Lets not forget accessories. Be sure to provide extra storage for Di's shoes,in case the venue changes.

Somehow I don't think this forum is the best place for such a question.... ?

Y'all worry too much.

Nice, civil group here.

... the best person I know for such advice is Ken! He knows you all intimately, he is an expert on everything, has stunning taste and would never take advantage of a brother in need!

Good luck Di, leave your spectacles at home, start with double cocktails and go deep into the wine list! Van tennies, perhaps white ones, will match just about anything Ken will suggest, including flip-fops and bare feet!
