Popular Post El Presidente Posted November 22, 2016 Popular Post Posted November 22, 2016 I arrived back this morning from a remarkable 14 days away. I don't care how travel fit you are....but the 35 hour trip from Cuba to Oz is one of the longest anyone can make...and it has taken its toll. I will start writing the travel diaries tomorrow From the opening few days with Hamlet in Miami to the last long lunch at El Templete Sunday....it was brilliant. Throw in the cavalcade of characters, laughter, drinks, cigars and general pandemonium....awesome. Havana is certainly changing in many ways but the heartbeat of friendships forged over many years beats strong. I was blessed to catch up with old friends and make lifelong new friends as well. My thanks goes to the travelling companions from around the world. Each of you make one's life so much richer. I managed to put in a little infrastructure for future FOH travellers to Havana should you wish drivers and or accommodation. The type of people whom I like to spend my time with and who will make your trip a little special. I will share the details over the coming days. The events we put on were excellent and that was a team effort between Gino, Foxy, AJ, Jose Candia and myself. Neither one of us could pull that off on our own. Congratulations and thank you to the team. Let the stories begin....and there are plenty. Hasta manana 16
cigcars Posted November 22, 2016 Posted November 22, 2016 ** Looks like you're holding two cigars, Rob! Is that somebody's hand behind yours??

Is that somebody's hand behind yours?? ...that is the way we roll in Havana I have no recollection of why I am holding two cigars....or much of the event itself except that it ended 5 am at Don Cangrejo. Our FOH crew were the only ones wearing the AmiCigar/FOH polo's.....it was on my instruction...and it was the wrong event. My minions (affectionally known as the Smurfs) didn't let me live it down. It proved less than useful at Don Congrejo as every working girl came up to us and feigned a prior attachment.....given our names were printed on them 1

dshapiro Posted November 22, 2016 Posted November 22, 2016 Oh man. Sounded like a blast. Don Congrejo is so much fun! So many hotties. Would be grateful for a driver connection for my next visit.

Ethernut Posted November 22, 2016 Posted November 22, 2016 Was an absolute blast Gents! Few like two weeks were crammed into one for us! Ready to go back!
stogieluver Posted November 23, 2016 Posted November 23, 2016 Mike and Dana (Madandana) Great couple. Hoping you guys make it back down to the Alabama Gulf Coast this spring and spin tales of your trip to Cuba.
Zedman05 Posted November 23, 2016 Posted November 23, 2016 You know, I was down there for just a cigar vacation with no plans. The good thing was that I met a bunch of you guys all around. It was fun. As a Canadian I actually felt outnumbered for the first time in Cuba by Americans. It was great to meet all you Aussies, as I would never have the chance normally. Thanks to you all for making it such a fun week to just meet and chat. I have never had such an enjoyable Cuban experience. Sent from my SM-G930W8 using Tapatalk 1
