Hamlet in Manassas, Virginia Nov. 4, 2016

I was able to meet up with Hamlet at a cigar retailer/lounge Friday evening a mere 10 minutes up the road from my house. He was making his northern Virginia rounds this weekend. Had a chance to smoke one of his Salomone sized cigars and must say it was the best vitola out of the sizes I smoked. Albeit a very long smoke at over 2 hours. The folks there were treated to his masterful cigar rolling and his stories of working in the Cuban cigar factories and his escape from Cuba via Niagara Falls. He is an example of the American dream and a blessed man.

Ha!  I grew up in Manassas!  Too bad I'm currently overseas, that would have been fun to see the Master in the old 'hood!

Old Virginia Tobacco Company sends me their emails. When one email said Hamlet Paredes rolling cigars showed up on my smartphone, that's all it took. He was in Woodbridge and Manassas on Friday. Sterling and Seven Corners on Saturday.
