matt14 Posted November 5, 2016 Posted November 5, 2016 Hi Guys, Anyone got any ideas where in Malta to buy legit single got a couple of days there Cant find any authorised dealers online Cheers Matt
gweilgi Posted November 5, 2016 Posted November 5, 2016 Try Charles Grech, 10 Republic Street Valletta Opening hours:Mon - Fri: 8:30am to 7pmSat: 9:30am to 3pm I was there this April. It's a cafe and wine bar located very centrally (Republic Street is the main street in old Valletta), with a walk-in humidor downstairs. The selection is a bit limited, but other than that I have not been able to find anywhere to stock Cubans. While we're on the topic: if you are looking for fine Maltan cuisine, do give the Legligin at 117/119 Santa Lucia Street a try. It's a basement place that offers the best of Maltese wine and food. We went back there three times.... 1
Philc2001 Posted November 5, 2016 Posted November 5, 2016 I was born there but I have no clue where to find cigars there. There are three islands, though only the main island of Malta and Gozo are really inhabited. Enjoy your stay.

We went back there three times.... I was there 5 years ago while deployed to the Med. I agree, Malta isn't great for cigars but they do have a good supplier, and it's Charles Grech. When I was there, a few outlets had some great pickups, like aged (99-00) Trini Fundies, Punch Coronas, etc. Best of all, their "old cigars" (i.e. anything with more than 5 years of age on them) get sold at a discount...just to get them off the shelves LOL I picked up some 05 (I think, can't recall now) Monte Especiales for an absolute song! Anyway, the location above is good when you're in Valetta itself. If you want the Charles Grech with the biggest Walk-in and selection, go to this one, and check out charlesgrech.com: Charles GrechTriq Mannarino, Birkirkara, Malta Hope that helps, mate! Lastly, if you go to that location - report back if they still have Trinidad Short Robusto T LE's on the shelves. When I was there in 2011, they were loaded with them....but NO ONE was buying LOL. Cheers! 1
