One misplaced "h" in the title could be embarrassing...

I'd probably buy some RA Gigantes, PL Panetela and QdO Corona. Three smokes I really enjoy.

In your opinion what are the best of the following "Shelf Sitters". Which ones do you smoke? Which ones do you enjoy? Simply...I define a shelf sitter as a cigar that "ages gracefully" on the she

PSD#5. Great smoke. I actually like it just a bit better than the D4. (Blasphemy, I know)

When I check what I actually do buy most regularly from that list, it is:

1. RGPC

2. QDOC

3. RAG

4. SPNP

Interesting to note - no Boli among the selfshitters.

I would love to say the JLPC as it used to be a really nice petit corona, but it's now kind of bland.

So for me it would be the Divinos, Hoyo du Maire (love that size) and RGPC.

It would surprise me if I had less than 6 boxes each of the QdO Coronas or the RGPC (maybe 10 of those)... I am currently short of the du Dep. I would take it all in the du Depute.

I concur, du Depute all the way.

I wouldn't take my word too far on this question because the quality of the RASS I've had don't hold a candle to the RAG I own. That being said, I find the DNA similar, but the richness and depth of flavour to be outstanding with the Gigantes. I suppose I will pay closer attention to it next time I smoke one, but thick fruit, (if that makes sense) bits of earth and clean tobacco are how I'd describe the last one I had.

My limited experience with RASS tells me they need about a year before they start to develop a lot of flavour....a great smoke when they do.

I'd take the Rafael Gonzalez PC, the Quai D'orsay Corona, the  Sancho Panza Non Plus and a box of ten Partagas D5, thanks! Might need some clearance pricing to get just under $500

I smoke and consistently enjoy the Du Maire, the QDO Corona, and the RG PC

Have had mixed results witht he PLP.  Good ones have been shockingly good for the price point, but the bad ones have been...bad.

Have only had one VR DA, from this year's blind tasting.  Mine was excellent!

Cuba Distinguidos

RyJ Belicosos

RyJ Cedros #1

They are all in my regular rotation ... smoking a #1 right now, as it happens.  I have no idea why any of these should be shelf-sitters but I'm not complaining... more for me!

Partagas Serie D 5 is the Petit Robusto that most suits my taste. My God what a cracking cigar when you get the right box.

Problem is the price point. They just didn't do their homework in product positioning.

Yeah...I feel the same way about the Partagas Serie D No.6.

QDC Corona.  Love them and would take all I could get!

Same here although I recently discovered the depute and it's nice!

I'd go 2x qdo corona, 1x du depute, 1x RGPC
