fabes Posted October 24, 2016 Posted October 24, 2016 This little guy was given to me by a lovely BOTL and I'm grateful for the opportunity to try it. Measuring 4.6" x 40 rg (pictured next to a partagas short for comparison) this is a nice sized cigar and it's such a shame we don't have more like this available in the current portfolio of HSA. This cigar was well constructed and very smooth in character. The smoke tends to have a dry finish, which I tend to find common with RyJ personally. I'm mostly finding a woody smoke with some creamy texture here and there. Occasional hints of fruit/licorice, but very mild and brief. A very enjoyable cigar well suited for a post-breakfast morning smoke. 3
subport Posted October 24, 2016 Posted October 24, 2016 Good short write up. Thanks. I would like to see more minutos myself as well. I smoke them quite often but not at the 10 yrs mark haha.
PigFish Posted October 24, 2016 Posted October 24, 2016 I have not had one of those in years! I have an empty cab box that I toss junk in, in the shop. I just dropped a handful of fasteners that I picked up off the floor and tossed them into that box yesterday!!! It got me thinking about these and then you post this review... Funny! Thanks for sharing! -Piggy
