Grabbed one of these for a late morning smoke before a round of golf. I enjoy the Cazadores and always make sure that there are a few sticks in the desktop humidor for occasions which require a more intense experience. The lonsdale format happens to be one of my favorites too. I am about halfway through this particular box, and have really enjoyed it so far.

There was a slight crack on the foot of this stick, but otherwise construction was decent. Made a small cut and draw was slightly firm, but nothing to worry about.

Started off with creamy notes of coffee. Slowly progressed to tastes of leather and earth. Towards the last third, a strong spicy peppery taste takes over, especially through the nose. Not a complex cigar but flavours were nice and pronounced.

Unfortunately, had some issues with the burn of this stick. Had to touch up a few times and relight about halfway through the stick. Probably due to the strong winds today and the fact that I had to rush slightly to make my tee time.

Overall, an enjoyable smoke for the correct occasion. No-nonsense and in your face flavours.

Thanks for the review.  I am smoking from a same coded box. Well... at least one every week. Cant miss it, mostly post lunch smoke at the weekend. Love this cigar. It has more cherry in it than ever and Rob's description is spot on: "More and more nuances."

had to grab another box today

Nice review and here's hoping El Prez finds another master case to lay on us.  I missed the last 24:24 on these and kicked myself in the bollocks for it:P

I in fact bought a box from our host a month or two back and wrote to Di the box had not been inspected or opened. When i got the cigars out the wrappers looked decidedly on the greener side. Now, we all love to open boxes to see nice oily wrappers etc. but this box wasn't delivering. I moaned like a little girl and Di offered me a full refund if I returned it, no questions asked.

Well, what would you know. I was wrong, admittedly I couldn't have possibly known anyway, but they are smoking beautifully. I'm glad i didn't return them. Lesson - don't always judge a book by it's cover. Although with Cuban cigars there's little guarantee the look will deliver a good cigar.

In 24:24 sales with cazzies, Rob always makes a note that he could NOT open and inspect all of them - the reason is obvious. Never got crap myself however its in the game we play. Good to know when it happens, you still have options.

Isn't it the reason why we like and trust FoH?!
