A great week in London

I met 2 wonderful ladies from London this Spring while I was relaxing on St Lucia, on my way home from Italy I stopped for a week to see them. Unfortunately they have to work, so my weekdays were open. The first place I wanted to go in London....

All the staff was extremely kind and friendly! While I was in the humidor I started talking to one of their employes....Phillip. We talked cigars, wine and which pub I should go have lunch in......found some vintage treasures for me and saved me a fortune.....the box he found from 59 was only being sold as a full box......so I passed on a 10k box

I went there twice, to chat with Phillip, buy cigars and have a smoke upstairs in the sampling lounge.......

I'd been in Italy before coming to London so I had the La Escepcion Don Jose's with me, was very happy to be able to give him a cigar he hadn't tried.....of course he gave me a UK RE I hadn't tried.

Sounds like a decent bloke!  London someday but 2017 headed for the "land of the rising sun".

I can taste the o-toro (tuna belly) at Tsukiji fish market already!

I love this store.  I think I stayed in there so long that my wife threatened to lock me out of the hotel room!  Wonderful city, great people

Nice! I went to London back in '04. It's a place I'd really love to get back to. Maybe my favorite place out of all the places I've visited. Just an incredible city. The tube and buses make getting around super easy, and the people were very friendly and welcoming.

 

I wasn't really smoking cigars back then, so that will be something to check out when I return.

Heading there on the 29th for a mini vacation before work.  Taking the wife and going to do real life Mario cart on the streets of Tokyo. Can't wait for that the market and robot restaurant again!!!!
