Popular Post dicko Posted October 7, 2016 Popular Post Posted October 7, 2016 My slide box cab doesn't have a box code stamp? Might have come in a cardoard outer box i can't remember. sorry but it is from box 3500 odd of 5000.This release has a reputation as a very strong cigar.I try one ever 3 months or so. Down to only a few but i reckon they have really got tasty. This cigar had good construction although it was a little dry so had a bit of a blowout at the end.1st third opened only medium bodied. Leathery and creamy. Some slight bready characters almost cooky dough. Not quite sweet but getting there.2nd third some black pepper came in which has been my experience of past RACF.3rd third the black pepper became stronger. Leather and some cream persists.Had to let it go after the "blowout"Overall a very good cigar. Would have liked that extra centimeter as some strength was coming in.90/100Sent from my SM-N910G using Tapatalk 5
Hurltim Posted October 7, 2016 Posted October 7, 2016 Perfect timing! I have been looking at these lately. I have a couple of questions if you don't mind. Would you say it still had legs left? What would your overall rating be for this cigar? 1
kinglingcheng Posted October 7, 2016 Posted October 7, 2016 worthy cigar ? need more time reserved a little bit or can smoke right the way cigar ?
luv2fly Posted October 7, 2016 Posted October 7, 2016 Thanks for the review. I have one from the Christmas Sampler that I can't bring my self to smoke. Maybe it is time. Problem is that will be the only one I smoke so I kind of hope I don't like it that much...
dicko Posted October 7, 2016 Author Posted October 7, 2016 Hi fellas thanks for your replies. I believe they do have legs to age for much longer but they are certainly entering the "smoke now" window. They have been tasty since day 1 but very strong. Now they seem to have settled down and some different flavours have come in (like the cream i mentioned). So you cant go wrong either way I reckon. My 2c hope that helps.Sent from my SM-N910G using Tapatalk
Onelove Posted October 8, 2016 Posted October 8, 2016 Smoked through an entire box of these in two months a while ago as I thought they had hit their stride. Half way through my second and last box now and think I may have jumped the gun. (I don't regret a second of it as they were the best cigars I have ever smoked.) 1
anacostiakat Posted October 8, 2016 Posted October 8, 2016 Went through a box earlier in the year. They are smoking great and still have plenty potential to age. They are so good I hate smoking the damn things and exhausting my supply.
JohnS Posted October 8, 2016 Posted October 8, 2016 Thanks for the reminder of how many I have left (too few!). Cheers for the review. 1
dicko Posted October 9, 2016 Author Posted October 9, 2016 Looks like im not the only one who can't keep my hands out of the cookie jar or cigar box in this case! HahaSent from my SM-N910G using Tapatalk
