godpheonix Posted October 7, 2016 Posted October 7, 2016 (edited) I know i know...its a love or hate relationship with these but i happen to really enjoy them. lets see if that opinion changes with this one. here goes! Cigar looks great and the smell of barnyard and earth is very present from the cigar. cold draw. hmm...draw is a bit tight but manageable...coco\earth notes. 1st third Right from the beginning, blast of coco\vanilla flavors with an earthy core, very nice start! a bit later green apple notes?? never had that before in this one! getting creamy at this point. changes to spicy\sweet molasses notes, then some peanuts?? wow this is complex...i have too think harder than usual to pinpoint some of these flavors with this cigar. at the end some zest\citrus notes come in the mix with the peanuts. medium bodied at this point. 2nd third burn still good but not much smoke coming off the cigar. Not long after the 2nd third starts, the flavors become a bit deeper\richer and it as turn into more of the stewed fruit notes mixed in with a bit of earth\coco now. mostly like that t'il almost the end where i got some graham cracker notes in the mix...very nice! final third the final third turns into a medium full flavor bomb with the notes turning into what i would call roasted marshmallows and dark coco. this stays until around the end where i'm mostly getting really rich dark coco flavors with a hint of sugar cane notes. this was a really good one guys! best I've had of the box. I'm glad i still got 18 or 19 left to age some more. i think this cigar as got years left to mature. i think i got a nicotine byte out of this one too!...started feeling it after the 2nd third and as now hit me pretty hard at the end. hehe Score 94\100 time 85 min Edited October 7, 2016 by godpheonix forgot score 3

anjimj Posted October 7, 2016 Posted October 7, 2016 I love those. I have one dry boxing right now. They keep getting better and better with age.

For the draw -- have you given the PerfecDraw a try? It will work well on really tight cigars, but what it's really for is fine-tuning any draw exactly how you specifically like it. Nothing like it before. Google it and see if this might help you.
