The photos don't show that this cigar is very much a maduro colour or close to. Probably the darkest cuban cigar ive seen other than the cohiba maduro.

I enjoy Monte PE's as a consistent smoke which i often smoke during the day with coffee.

Construction was great.

1st third started with sauteed nushrooms but settled into classic monte PE flavours of coffee/cream/dark choc.

Basically cappucino in a cigar.

Little hints of stale powdered pepper through the nose.

2nd third was much the same with some woody flavours coming in.

Last third was again the same but started to become a bit "darker" in flavour profile. Coffee with cream dominant still.

Overall a one trick pony that does its one trick very well so i do not mean this as a criticism. I would give this cigar a 91.

Love this little cigar.  But it looks like if you don't have that PSP or High Hq quality they can

rather be rather ho hum.  Big difference from when I bought some in Europe color wise all (cream

no coffee) looking and what Rob's look like.  Taste wise another big difference.

If I can I bring smokes bought from Rob to Europe with me

but run out of them then I hit the B and M's and buy / look around.

By far Spain had the most amount to choose from.  Many cigar shops in the

cities and towns. France especially in Nice and along the Rivera all the way

to the border of Italy I found many small shops that sold habanos.  But not near

Rob's PSP standard.  I guess I've been spoiled!  Once the cat is out of the bag

thats it no going back, ruined for life!
