Very shocking and sad news and I don't think Nic could have been older than about 60. I corresponded with him occasionally - always a total gentleman. UK Cigar Scene was setting the standard for cigar journalism. Huge loss. RIP.

Very sad to hear this news. Like everyone has said I really enjoyed his magazine and enjoyed his contributions to the cigar community. Condolences to his family

This is very sad news indeed. It was only last week that I was thinking that I hadn't read any recent publications of U.K. Cigar Scene.

My thoughts go to his friends and family, I briefly met him in London a few years ago and had a great chat about cigars.

I will surely smoke one in his honor..........

Shock and awe. He is one of the cigar people who makes me more passionate in Cuban cigars than before (and cigar tools such as FOH torch too!) .
