I've just seen the very sad news that Nic Wing (nicintheUK on here) has passed on. I loved the UK Cigar Scene magazine and videos. A huge loss to the cigar community.

This weekend I realized last edition was in July. I thought about writing to him but didnt want to bother so I didnt.

Devastated by the sad news.
I liked Nic as a passionate cigar gentleman from our first meeting in Havana years ago and was impressed with his work on behalf of cigar culture. Truly a great loss. My deepest condolences to his family.
I will remember him fondly and smoke a cigar in his honour.

Such a shame. I met him after moving to London a couple years ago and always enjoyed chatting with him at herfs, or in the JJ Fox Lounge upstairs.  We've lot a great luminary in the Cigar world.

Shocking and very sad. Seemed like a great guy and was an asset to the CC industry. One of the first Cuban cigar review videos I came across was Nic Wing and Laurence Davis smoking the Cohiba Robustos Supremos LE 2014. RIP.
