Is that yellowbelly a member of the bass family?  Small mouth?  Looks like great times.

Never actually done any bass fishing...I know in most instances it is catch and release. Just wanted to know can you eat them , they do look like they would be quiet tasty .

Keep at it Rob, nice pics...hope you land a few more today .

Looks like a largemouth and a crappie combined.

Yellowbelly is a member of the Perch Family.  Different family to the Australian Bass.  Found in many of the same conditions.
