I'm gonna plead old and admit I don't know what it is.

Curious who on here uses Instagram regularly? Seems that there is a pretty big cigar community on there and I know FriendsOfHabanos has an account.  Figured it would be nice to get a list of ever

@59tele

Mainly vinyl records, some whiskey, some cigar, some guitar, some car pics.

Nice feed, I am also into vinyl. Would love to hear about your stereo set-up.

I'm sure no one else will care but here goes:  :)

My receiver is a Pioneer SX-750.  I have a Pioneer PL-A45D turntable plugged into the Phono Input of the receiver and either a Dual 1257 or Dual 1019(deprending on my mood) turntable plugged into the AUX Input that goes thru an ART DJPREII phono preamp first.  I like the receiver because it has 2 tape loops.  In Tape Loop 2 I have a Denon DR-M20 3 head cassette deck.  In Tape Loop 1 I have a Realistic Tape Control Center plugged into to it. It has 3 tape loops on it. Plugged into it I have an AKAI GX-630DB 10" reel to reel tape deck, a Teac A-2300SX 7" reel to reel tape deck and a Yamaha KX-630 3 head cassette deck  I switch out the Yamaha for a Nakamichi LX-3 cassette deck sometimes. I need to get another Realistic Tape Control Center so that I can hook up my Pioneer Elite CLD-91 Laserdisc/CD player( for CD's only) and my Pioneer/Centrex RH-60 8-track player/recorder. The 8-track player plays back pre-recorded tapes just like I remember from back in the day: crappy :) . But I bought some hi quality 8 track blank tapes and have made some recordings and have been blown away at how good it sounds.

I followed you back, thanks!

Someone else in this thread followed me and within a few hours of me returning the follow, unfollowed me.  Oh my, how clever of you.  I know you are working on your followers to following ratio because that is such a big deal for your ego, but if you think you are fooling anyone with that tactic, you are only fooling yourself.

Cheers, Randy

That might have been me, sorry! I went through and deleted a bunch of random people I did not know as sometimes it gets a bit out of control and tough keeping track of who is who. Should have added everyone else here also :))

Added you back!

LOL,no problem LandCruiser!  :)  I know what you mean about having a lot random followers and not knowing who they are.  I assumed too soon that you were doing the infamous "get followers by following and then unfollowing" tactic that is so prevalent on instagram.  I get at least 10 of those idiots a day. Some will unfollow within minutes of me following them back.  I can't believe that they actually think they are getting away with trying to be sneaky.  I was taught to treat people the way I would want to be treated, so that's one of those silly things that annoys me, LOL. Sorry I threw you in with the bad apples.

I added you back too, and I like your photos!

take care, Randy

I didn't know this was a thing. Following and unfollowing and ratios? I just like the pics.

Yeah unfortunately. One night some girl who had absolutely nothing in common with my interests followed me. She had about 10K followers and 500 that she was following. I noticed that her last few hundred people she followed were in the vinyl record community like me. So I tested her by following her.  The next day I woke up and checked the Followers app and saw she unfollowed me along with 490 other people, cause she was only following 10 people now.  I guess some peeps need to stroke their ego. :)

No no, I add someone and if they follow me back I never delete them unless I have a reason. Only time I remove anyone is if I just don't know why I followed them. Drinking + Instagram can have you waking up with a lot of accounts you don't remember following ?

I had a Dual years ago I think it was a CS515, but I may be making that up. I've got a VPI Hw-19jr, but my needle and cartridge are on their last legs and need a replacement, any recommendations?

Hi Blazer,

Nice table!  Depending on your budget, maybe an Ortofon 2M Blue or Audio Technica AT440MLb. Those 2 are in the 200-250ish range.  Both of them are very good cartridges that come with the stylus(needle).

I have a Dual CS515 sitting out in the garage.  I found it at Goodwill a few months back for $5.99.  It had a pretty nice low mileage Shure cartridge on it that I wanted, so I couldn't pass up the deal. :)
